Quote from: "hafeez kazi"LAHWAL HADITH
And of mankind is he who purchases (Lahwal Hadith) idle talks (i.e. music, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allah, the Verses of the Qur'an) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire). 31:6
WA- MIN AN- NAAS MAN YASHTARE LAHW AL- H.ADETH LI- YUD.ILL cAN SABEL 'ALLAAH BI- GHAYR cILM WA- YATTAKHIDH -HAA HUZUW (AN) 'OLAA'IKA LA- -HUM cADHAAB MUHEN 31:6
LAHWA = pleasure, amusement, diversion, fun, disport, festivity, game, distraction, play
HADITH = report , account, tale, narrative, talk , speech, discourse, words, yarn, spiel, late,
modern, recent, red-hot, up-to-date,
Traditional translators have taken for consideration that LAHWAL HADITH means Singing and Music, a straight lift from the SAHIH'S Hadith. Had they pondered over the verse with care they would have translated better than the nonsense they translated.
