Peace all

In this post i would like to share some songs that i benefitted from. Even if you don't like politics (which is ironic because it's everywhere irregardless), these songs will certaintly be thought-provoking.
These songs are for everyone, but i would especially like new members to listen to them. Instead of learning the truth about 9/11, the truth about governments and the truth about politicans from boring books we can learn it from interesting music. We now live in a period where lots of artists are starting to bring political truths into their music. By doing this they have made politics enjoyable and easy to learn. Listen to these songs below and tell me what you think? We can have an interesting discussion about the topics the songs talk about. Anyway, here is the songs:

Two songs that reveal the truth about 9/11:

Immortal technique - Bin laden

KhanQuest - 9/11

A song that reveal the truth about the Vietnam war:

Jedi mind tricks - Uncommon Valor

A song that reveal the truth about modern day slavery:

Jedi mind tricks - Shadow business

Not sure I'd say "reveal the truth."  Poetic exposition, yes, but those 'books' that teach politics and history are still important in reviewing and verifying the material in the music.  The music is the gooey for people to listen to and have their interest tickled.  Then they delve into the reading to discover the bigger picture, the more subtle elements of it and the deeper aspects that can't be explored within the limitations of a piece of entertainment.

I agree that books are important. I formulated myself wrong. When i said boring books, i didn't mean myself. Personally i have nothing against books and i think books are better than songs for educational purposes. However, most people don't have the time or interest for reading books on 300 pages about politics etc. Therefore educational music likes the songs in my last post can be a great introduction for those who want to learn more about politics and don't have enough time or interest yet to read books. And yes, it can have their interest tickled so that they may search for more information about the facts in the songs.

Lobster

Okay neither of these are hip hop or directly relate to 9/11, but I think they're relevant.

If you're into conspiracies...listen to Muse. They're a pretty big band anyway now so maybe you already do.

and of course there is the greatest band in the world - Radiohead - their album Hail to the Thief mainly deals with politics and such.
