This requirement is for both, men and women.

God made men and women live together in a family.. Family is a mini model of the society. Male and female - it's all about balance. By separating male and female we create imbalance. If person's intent is to pray towards God, then the person will do that. And if that person is just showing off, but inside is not really believing, then of course he will get easily distracted. Because he does not have a goal ;) Muslims are all brothers and sisters to each other. So in those pictures I see  brothers and sisters turning together towards God. If you think this is forbidden.. Well it is your choice and freedom to believe so :) May God bless you :)

Americans are extremists? all of them? Remember that there are american muslims too.

sorry about using generalised statements but according to Koran the justice once asked forgiveness for making a generalised judgement on 99 goats and 1 goat case. It is Wise not to make generalised statements.

Incorrect. Americans are not extremists.
There are 300,000,000 Americans out there and i'm marrying one and i have several friends who are Americans.
What about the poor Americans, the orphans Americans, the homeless Americans, of which some fought in Vietnam, what about single parents in USA, are they extremists?????

I think it's the US government your're angry at and you shouldn't be - rather fix it.
