Peace Friends,

I want to know whether the ayah saying the Lord separated the earth and the heavens really refers to the "Big Bang" or not???

I dont think scientific people will accept the claim that this shows quran has supprted Big Bang Theory.

You are right. Nobody with a bit of a scientific background would accept that a few vague, ambiguous words mentioning smoke, talking planets and heavens would be referring to the Big Bang or the model describing it.

This is creation based on faith, not science.

Really, I have seen or at least can imagine in my mind Atheists making fun of the Muslims who try to deliberately distort verses of quran to MAKE them compatible with Science.

I agree with u bro.....
