And gogs and magogs seem to mean cavalry looters, because when the time mankind started farming, there are two armies that the army of looters who had superior mobility through cavalry and chariot, and for the farmers against the army of these cavalry looters who barely had weapons bronze spears and shields and bows, which were very expensive and rare in raw materials.
And so in beginning of ancient India, Egypt, Mesopotamia, China and all other farming lands, the ruling class was always the cavalry looters, but when civilizations entered the Iron Age, even ordinary farmers were able to have a high-quality arm by cheap price of iron weapons and armors, so that farmers could have an upper hand against the looters, and countries representing the position of the peasants emerged.
For example, the first three dynasties in ancient China were all founded by cavalry looters who came down from the northern lands, and after the Iron Age, the dynasties started to form around the agricultural people.

I think it means that when advanced weapons such as gunpowder and lasers develop, even metal-based weapons become useless, and when the army of looters based on superior mobility becomes completely useless, they cannot loot innocent people who only defend themselves, they attack each other.
in entire human history, countries that doing unjust wars are always based on "mobility, hit and run, shooting at long distances" by cavalry, chariot, tanks, long-range guided missiles, etc.
