Peace everyone, gone through a period were I believed in the existence of a God, and I also believed in evil spirits due to the experiences that I had but I didn't believe in religions. Then I looked into Christianity and I ended up believing that Gospels were mainly true but that Paul and others later on weren't because they contradict Biblical Jesus, etc etc. Anyway there is no earthly institution/church that believed the same. Now because I'm thinking of Quran only I decided to post here. I have heard on Quran alone Facebook groups, there's only a couple I think that this former Christian was sick of contradictions in the Bible. Anyway, in this forum section that deals with doubts about the Quran I think there are unanswered questions that I think are very important and it would be good if someone answered them.
Anyway, I wanted to discuss the Quran and this section is not for that and I didn't know where else to post this.
Anyway, this is where I'm  at, I wanna listen to Quran on audible now,  you can listen to it for free on audible and when I have more questions il post it on appropriate sections of this forum.
Thanks

Salam Ervin,
Welcome to free-minds.org!
I come from a secular Sunni background. When I decided to follow only the Holy Quran, I discovered this forum, which has significantly shaped my understanding of its message over the years. I want to assure you that you are in the right place if you genuinely seek to understand the correct version of Islam. Here, we have many intellectual users who delve deep to decode the core message of Scripture.
As for the "Quran-only" tag, it's a label others use because we follow only this Scripture. In reality, we are simply Muslims who do not rely on any secondary sources for guidance or law.
God tells us in the Quran "Shall I seek other than God as a source of law, when He has revealed this book fully detailed? Those who received the scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbor any doubt. 6:114."
"These are GOD's revelations that we recite to you truthfully. In which Hadith other than GOD and His revelations do they believe (45:6)?"

This world has witnessed many messengers who brought the True messages. Isa (the Messiah) was one of them, bestowed with the Injeel to teach his people. However, Iblis, the leader of the Satans, succeeded in corrupting the Book. The Injeel was replaced by the Bible, which was written by various authors. As a result, we encounter contradictions, such as in Matthew 10:40, where Jesus appears to claim that he and God are one and the same. Also, in John 10:36, "What about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, 'I am God's Son'?" Yet, in Numbers 23:19, it states: "God is not a man, that He should lie, neither the son of man, that He should repent. Hath He said, and shall He not do it?"
If Jesus and God are the same, why would there be a contradiction, or why would Jesus seemingly lie or contradict the nature of God?

Conversely, God tells is in the Quran "O people of the Book, do not overstep in your system, nor say about God except the truth. Jesus, son of Mary, was no more than a messenger of God and the fulfillment of His word to Mary and a Spirit from Him. So, believe in God and His messengers, and do not say: "Trinity." Cease, for it is better for you. God is only One God; HE is too Exalted to have a son!! To Him is all that is in the heavens and the earth; and God is enough as a Caretaker.4:171."

Religion is man-made, a product of conspirators, and mainstream Islam is no exception. As a result, many Muslims practice rituals and seek guidance from books that God never sanctioned. Even our Quran is not free from erroneous translations. These translations are merely personal interpretations of the translator, subject to errors and biases. The Quran is written in classical Arabic, not in simple or modern Arabic, which makes understanding its true message challenging. Consequently, many diligent Quran students carefully study the Scripture to uncover its real message. By reading the Quran yourself, rather than just listening to the chapters, and comparing different translations, you will notice the differences. If you have any doubts, you can always ask here or in other Quran-only forums or groups for clarification.

Peace Diasjj  I agree, Research is key because we don't have Muhammad here to explain the revelations to us and
other sources may have biases, misunderstandings and prejudices.

God bless
