1- The knowledge given by the Quran is being discovered by positive sciences with each passing day.

2 - Allah not only demands scientific research in many verses but also directs many of His statements to those who have advanced in these fields and possess knowledge:

Al-Anbiya
(30) "Have the disbelievers not seen that the heavens and the earth were joined together, then We separated them, and made every living thing from water? Will they not then believe?"

This statement is directed at those who research and discover the origins of the universes and living beings. Otherwise, there would be no point in saying to those who have not reached this knowledge, "Have they not seen that the heavens and the earth were joined together, and that We separated them, and made every living thing from water?" The only way to "see" the information mentioned in this verse is by advancing in science and technology.

Al-Ankabut
(29:19) "Do they not see how Allah originates creation, then repeats it? Surely this is easy for Allah."
(29:20) "Say, 'Travel through the earth and observe how He began creation. Then Allah will produce the final creation. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.'"

Allah wants us to research the creation of living beings and the universe. This can only be achieved through scientific inquiry. He wants us to not only investigate the beginnings of creation but also to study the ongoing cycles of creation in the present. After that, we are to ponder whether the resurrection of living beings in the Afterlife Universe is possible.

Al-Qamar
(49) "Indeed, We created all things with a precise measure."

It is because of this measure and balance that we can conduct scientific research, experiments, and other such activities. Even in what is called chaos, there is, in the long run, an order of its own.

Ghafir
(57) "The creation of the heavens and the earth is indeed greater than the creation of mankind, but most people do not know."

Again, it is mentioned that those who possess knowledge are more capable of perceiving the truth and using reason.

Surah Fatir
(27) "Have you not seen that Allah sends down water from the sky? With it, We bring forth produce of various colors. And in the mountains are streaks of white, red, and varying shades, as well as raven-black."
(28) "And so are people, animals, and livestock of various colors. Only those of His servants who have knowledge truly fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Almighty, All-Forgiving."

An-Naml
(40) "But one who had knowledge of the Scripture said, 'I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you.' When Solomon saw the throne placed firmly before him, he said, 'This is by the grace of my Lord to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful.'"

Here, "knowledge of the Scripture" is nothing but advanced knowledge in science. He moves matter within the blink of an eye.

Ignorance and lack of knowledge are shown as the sources of evil and fanaticism in the verses:

Surah Al-An'am
(139) "They said, 'What is in the bellies of these cattle is exclusively for our males and forbidden to our females. But if it is stillborn, then all of them share in it.' He will punish them for their false attribution. Indeed, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing."
(140) "Lost indeed are those who kill their children foolishly out of ignorance and forbid what Allah has provided for them—falsely attributing it to Allah. They have certainly gone astray and are not rightly guided."

We are commanded to follow only evidence and reason:

Surah Al-Isra
(36) "And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight, and the heart—all of these will be questioned."
(6) "O you who believe! If a wicked person brings you some news, investigate, lest you harm people unknowingly and later regret what you have done."

Surah An-Nahl
(56) "They assign a share of what We have provided them to those idols they know nothing about. By Allah! You will certainly be questioned about what you used to fabricate."
(57) "They attribute daughters to Allah—glory be to Him—and to themselves what they desire (sons)."
(58) "And when one of them is given the good news of the birth of a daughter, his face grows gloomy, and he suppresses his rage."
(59) "He hides himself from the people because of the bad news he has received. Should he keep her in disgrace or bury her alive in the ground? Evil indeed is their judgment!"

Here, it is emphasized that inanimate objects do not create the blessings of the earth, and those who become angry upon the birth of a daughter are condemned for their ignorance.

Surah Al-Mulk
(3) "It is He who created seven heavens in layers. You will not find any flaw in the creation of the Most Compassionate. So look again: do you see any gaps?"
(4) "Then look again and again—your sight will return to you humbled and weary."

Here, the exploration of the sky and the universes is commanded, and a challenge is issued. You will not see any disorder or chaos. No matter how much you research, you will only confirm this.

These are just a few examples. There are countless verses in this direction.

Neither the number of people, nor emotions, nor superstitions hold any validity. None of these have any authority... We are only commanded to attain true knowledge and belief through reason, proof, research, and inquiry.
