6:130 or 7:35 it states Messenger 'Yaqussu' rather Narrates / relates and not 'Yathlu' recite or read 'Iqra.. and it seems everyone has received messengers including me.. But not Messenger of Allah but just a Messengers who narrates regularly with the verses exist.. it seems like what is already revealed from the book narrates or relates..But messengers of Allah always recites or read.. Do you think that could there be just messengers who narrates in our life? If someone is narrating Allah's verses, who is he if not a Messenger but not necessarily a Messenger of Allah assigned..
How can FROM AMONG YOU can be considered for JINN ... for example .. how can Mohamed be considered from among you for JInns.. Mohamed is not a jinn.. Did allah send Messengers of Allah to jinns or just messengers who NARRATES existing revelations..?
All whom were sent were being revealed to. Prophets are described as being sent with Scriptures, while messengers are being described with Signs, the Book and the Balance, and as reformers of people's religion.
All whom were sent were being revealed to:
"And We did not send before you except men to whom We revealed. So ask the people of the scripture if you do not know, with the clear proofs and the Scriptures. And We sent down to you the Reminder so that it may make clear to the people what has been sent down to them, and perhaps they may reflect." (The Quran 16:42-43)
Messengers are also sent to reform the people's faith:
"And We do not send the messengers except as bringers of good tidings and warners. So whoever believes and REFORMS - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve." (6:48)
Messengers were also sent with clear signs and the Book and the Balance:
"We sent aforetime our messengers with clear signs and sent down with them the Book and the Balance, that people may stand forth in justice; and We sent down Iron, in which is strong material, as well as many benefits for mankind, that God may test who it is that will help, unseen, Him and His messengers: For God is full of strength, exalted in might." (The Quran 57:25)
Prophets were also sent with Scriptures:
"Mankind was [of] one religion [i.e. before their deviation]; then God sent the prophets as bringers of good tidings and warners and sent down with them the Scripture in truth to judge between the people concerning that in which they differed." (The Quran 2:213)
I don't think there's much that separates between the two except what you read here and the linguistic difference, meaning:
- Prophets foretell the future
- Messengers come with a message
However, I believe both can come with a message, but messengers are just not prophets. And messengers can just be reformers without a having to necessarily come with "The Book and the Balance."
In other words, the lousy differentiation Sunnis make (just to be able to deny future messengers) is a baseless differentiation and should be ignored.
