Peace jkhan.
10:22 , those who implore GOD when they are in trouble and promise that they will be appreciative if GOD helps them;
However in 10;23 they turn out unappreciative and do the opposite. They break their promise and rebel/commit transgressions and oppose the truth..
" Be thankful" in 10:22 means we do good and follow GOD s straight path// follow GOD s commands and instructions and work righteousness in our life.
Transgressing in 10:23 means opposing GOD and follow the "Taghout path" .
I am in agreement with you . Thanking GOD means to do/ work righteousness and follow the straight path in our life.
GOD bless you.
Peace.
Peace.. Thank you for reply... Excellent..
I would like to combine this topic with sīn bā ḥā (س ب ح) and ḥā mīm dāl (ح م د)
Indeed it involves words and mind.. I know everything on earth and heavens Sabih.. How they do we don't realize... But they do.. But what exactly one has to do?
Allah says Lahu mulku walahu hamdu.. It clearly indicates Hamd is something like Majesty.. Alhamdullah ...is it like The majesty /supremacy is to Allah... So if Majesty belongs to Allah alone then sabih / exalting only belongs to Him.
Subahanalla / Exaltation belongs to Him..
How to exalt His majesty..? Words?
For me indeed words with reflection... But not necessary arabic words obviously cuz everything Sabih Allah on earth and heavens so just leave language issue.. ... You have to exalt Allah almost always but not with mere words but complete agreement with words what We utter.. For example below verse..
14:39
"The Majesty is to Allah (Alhamdulillah) , who has granted to me in old age Ishmael and Isaac. Indeed, my Lord is the Hearer of supplication."
So.. Here Ibrahim begins with Alahamdulillah and give reasons abd it means Ibrahim communicates with Allah after Exalting Allah..
Even if you take the very first chapter after exalting Allah it teaches us to communicate with Allah.....
Any thoughts...
