THE INCONSISTENCIES OF OCTOBER 7 (II)
Qatar, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and Israel
by Thierry Meyssan
Contrary to the way Qatar is portrayed, the emirate is not a neutral negotiator in the case of the Al-Aqsa Flood hostages. A blunder by its minister, Lolwah Al-Khater, who came to follow the negotiations in Tel Aviv, shows, on the contrary, that Doha exercises authority over Hamas. The new members of Israel's war cabinet were surprised to discover that Qatar had taken part in Benjamin Netanyahu's plot to attack Israel on October 7, 2023.

LOLWAH AL-KHATER'S BLUNDER
Lolwah Al-Khater, Qatari Minister for International Cooperation, visited Tel Aviv on November 25, 2023. It was the first time a Qatari official had visited Israel. She was received by the War Cabinet to resolve problems with the implementation of the hostage exchange agreement. She also visited Gaza.

Accustomed to discussions with Mossad director David Barnea, she didn't seem to grasp that the war cabinet included not only loyalists of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In order to gain time, she made decisions in the name of Hamas, without referring to it.

Members of the former opposition who joined the emergency cabinet and witnessed this discussion were shocked to see her step out of her role as mediator and reveal her links of authority over Hamas, the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.

After the meeting, Joshua Zarka, Deputy Director General for Strategic Affairs at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, declared that Israel would "settle accounts with Qatar" as soon as it had completed its role as mediator. Indeed, if Qatar can give orders to Hamas, it can no longer conceal its responsibility for the October 7 attack. Not only is it not a mediator, it is an enemy of the Israelis.

Let's return for a moment to Qatar's identity.

QATAR AND THE UNITED STATES
Qatar only became independent from the British Empire in 1971. Its first emir, Khalifa ben Hamad Al Thani, turned to France. He developed his country, wary of easy revenues from hydrocarbons. But in 1995, he was overthrown by his son, Hamad ben Khalifa Al Thani. The new Emir signed gas and oil agreements, mainly with Anglo-Saxon companies (Exxon Mobil, Chevron Phillips, Shell, Centrica), French companies (Total), Chinese companies (China National Offshore Oil, CNOOC, Petrochina), Indian, South Korean and Japanese companies. The money is now flowing.

In 1996, in the wake of the Oslo Accords, Qatar teamed up with French-Canadian Jews David and Jean Frydman, friends of Yitzhak Rabin and Yasser Arafat, to set up Al-Jazeera, a pan-Arab television channel to confront Arab and Israeli viewpoints. It was an immediate success. However, the channel, which was intellectually involved in the Israeli peace movement, became the bête noire of the United States during its wars against Afghanistan and Iraq.

In 2002, the United States signed a military agreement with Qatar. They set up their Middle East command headquarters, CentCom, on the gigantic Al-Udeid base. It houses 11,000 soldiers and around 100 aircraft. To this end, they withdrew their men from Saudi Arabia.

The Pentagon then reminded the Emir that he was in no position to defy it: one morning, he was awakened by Special Forces in his bedroom. A US officer assured him that they have just protected him from an imaginary coup. The Emir understood the message and complied with the demands of his protectors.

In 2005, Al-Jazeera's shareholder base was shaken by the boycott of Saudi advertisers. The Frydman brothers withdrew from the channel. It is completely reformatted by the JTrack consulting firm. JTrack placed Brother Wadah Khanfar at its head [1]. Gradually, he censored all criticism of "American imperialism" and even withdrew certain images showing US crimes in Iraq. Al-Jazeera, several of whose journalists were killed by US forces and one of whose contributors was taken prisoner and tortured at Guantánamo, became the mouthpiece of the Anglo-Saxon powers, giving a voice to Sunni Islamism. In 2009, Wadah Khanfar visited the United States, where he was received by all those who count among the ruling elite.

In 2008, the Emir enthroned a new president in Lebanon, in violation of the Constitution, in place of the outgoing president.

In 2011, the head of JTrack, Brother Mahmoud Jibril, suddenly became the leader of the opposition to the regime, of which he was a minister. Palestinian Brother Wadah Khanfar left Al-Jazeera to head a Turkish think tank, Al-Sharq Forum. The channel is taken over by the Prime Minister, Sheikh Hamad ben Jassem ben Jaber Al Thani. It instantly became NATO's main propaganda tool in the Arab world. It gave a one-sided view of the conflicts in Libya and Syria, transforming itself into the channel of the Muslim Brotherhood. Imam Youssef al-Qaradawi became the channel's official preacher. He explained to his listeners that Mohammed would undoubtedly be on NATO's side today.

Qatar has become the main go-between in the Middle East. It negotiates peace agreements between Arabs wherever the United States asks, in Western Sahara, in inter-Palestinian rivalries, in Darfur, Eritrea and Yemen. But it can also use its power to restart wars. In 2012, for example, it gave Brother Omar al-Bashir's Sudan $2 billion to recall his special envoy, General Mohammed Ahmed Mustafa al-Dabi [2]. General Mustafa al-Dabi, who until then had been widely appreciated for his peaceful role in Darfur, had been appointed President of the Arab League's International Mission in Syria. He and his colleagues had access to everything they wanted to see. In a preliminary report, he concluded that the Western media were lying and that there was no revolution in Syria.

In 2013, the Emir abdicated in favor of his son, Tamim ben Hamad Al Thani.

THE « GULF CRISIS »
From June 2017 to January 2021, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates led a blockade of Qatar, paralyzing the Gulf Cooperation Council. This Cold War has been misinterpreted. According to the Financial Times, it was linked to a murky story of ransom payments, and according to others to a declaration by the Emir, Sheikh Tamim ben Hamad al-Thani, in favor of the political use of Islam as practiced by both the Muslim Brotherhood and Iran.
In fact, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah al-Sissi, had managed to obtain documents from the secret society that had ruled his country for a year, the Muslim Brotherhood. A former director of military intelligence, he had studied them. After US President Donald Trump's speech in Riyadh against Muslim Brotherhood terrorism (May 21, 2017), he understood the use he could make of them. So he had sent the king the evidence in his possession hoping to gain his support in his fight against the Brotherhood. They contained evidence of a plot by the Brotherhood and Qatar to overthrow the King of Arabia, Salmane ben Abdelaziz Al Saoud. For the king and his son, it was a shock: not only was the Brotherhood, which the Kingdom had pampered for years, granting it a military budget larger than that of its own army, taking the liberty of supporting Daesh, but it was also attacking the monarch.

On June 5, 2017, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Bahrain, followed by the Yemeni government of Abdrabbo Mansour Hadi, the Libyan government in Tobruk, Mauritania, the Maldives and the Comoros broke off diplomatic relations with Qatar. These countries closed their land, air and sea borders to the emirate, suddenly strangling it. US President Donald Trump took sides, accusing Qatar of funding "religious extremism". The Emirate was supported by Turkey, Morocco, Hamas, Iran and Germany, where the Brotherhood's National Guide, Ibrahim el-Zayat, has a seat at the Foreign Ministry. Niger and Chad supported Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Bahrain issued a 13-point ultimatum to Qatar [3]. The ultimatum was to break with political Islam and its supporters: Turkey and Iran.

The crisis was only resolved when US President Donald Trump attempted to reconcile Arab countries with each other and with Israel. He organized the rapprochement between Morocco and Israel, followed by the Gulf crisis. The controversy surrounding political Islam is muted.

THE EMIRATE OF QATAR AND THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD
The Brotherhood (Ikwan) pursues the goal set by its founder, the Egyptian Hassan El-Banna, at the end of the First World War: to re-establish the Caliphate [4]. In a letter to the Egyptian Prime Minister of the time, he describes his three objectives:
• "a reform of legislation and the union of all courts under Sharia law ;
• recruitment into the armed forces by instituting voluntary service under the banner of jihad;
• connecting Muslim countries and preparing for the restoration of the Caliphate, in application of the unity demanded by Islam".

The Ikwan is a secret society organized on the model of the United Grand Lodge of England. As such, we only know about its activities from the testimonies of its former members, or from documents seized during its defeats.

As soon as it was created, the Brotherhood set up militias to assassinate its opponents. It developed first in Egypt, then throughout the Arab world and in Pakistan. The United Kingdom and the United States were quick to use its politicians (such as Brother Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq in Pakistan or Brother Mahmoud Jibril in Libya) and its militias, such as al-Qaeda, Daesh and the League for the Protection of the Tunisian Revolution. As soon as he arrived at the White House, President Barack Obama appointed a member of the Brotherhood, Mehdi K. Alhassani, to his National Security Council, in order to establish a permanent link with it [5].

When the United States began the Syrian episode of the "Endless War", it asked Hamas to move its office from Damascus to Doha. When Saudi Arabia definitively broke with the Brotherhood in 2014, Qatar spontaneously took its place. Without having the same resources as its powerful neighbor, the emirate became the big money-maker with the approval of the United States. In 2018, Qatar is paying the salaries of Hamas officials in Gaza. With the agreement of Benjamin Netanyahu, its ambassador travels there with suitcases full of $15 million in small bills. The operation will be repeated every month.

In 2022, U.S. President Joe Biden elevated Qatar to the rank of Major Non-NATO Ally, an honor reserved for only a dozen countries worldwide.

Lolwah Al-Khater's blunder shows that Qatar is more than that. It exercises authority over Hamas's political and military strategy.

 Peace

The Arab Nations together with The Zionists have been doing what they are doing now to The Palestinians for more than a hundred years, ever since *The Sykes-Picot Agreement* was signed
and followed by The Balfour Declaration in 1916-1917. They could have established a Palestinian State in 1948 with the Pre-1967 Palestinian Mandate Territory, but The Arabs chose not to, instead went to war against the newly established Independent Zionists State and got their backsides kicked. Since then The Arabs went on to two more wars against The Zionists State and Lost all of 1967 and 1973 major wars to the detriment of The Palestinians.
What happened to the Palestinians is a clear proof of "God's Warnings" in The Qurän in these verses: 2/120, 9/97 and 9/101 .

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people

good logic

Brother Jafar, we can imagine all sorts of  things, but the reality is hidden by our misguidance, following our own ways and our own wishful thinking.
We do not really believe we are accountable for our actions!

The reality is we are one race and one congregation. From one family-Humans-.

Our god is one god. so in reality if we do not believe in the Hereafter- Accountability-, our hearts are denying, and we are arrogant.

However, God knows everything we conceal and everything we declare.  GOD does not approve of those who are arrogant, corrupt the earth and divide us.

We will be held responsible for our actions on the Day of Resurrection, all of us.

God is not the One who will wrong us; We are the ones who will wrong our own souls if we mess up- do evil-.

We will incur the consequences of our own evil works, and the very things we ridicule- like accountability at GOD s- will come back to haunt us.

So Let  your fellow humans enjoy temporarily what they do here in this life,; we will surely find out.

Those who want to set the good example will benefit. Those who want to set the worst example will be remorseful.

May be we should reflect on who brought us out of our mothers bellies knowing nothing, gave us the sight, hearing and the brain to learn and correct our ways .
I hope we can use our faculties to at least co exist better than older generations did before us. Or wishful thinking again!

Brother Jafar, we can imagine all sorts of  things, but the reality is hidden by our misguidance, following our own ways and our own wishful thinking.
We do not really believe we are accountable for our actions!

To be more precise, following "Ego Centricity" ways.
Any form of "evil" act always started with an "ego centricity" in mind,
Thus they say, "Pride" is a gateway towards "the dark side".

On Imagine lyrics, Lennon clarify it further in an interview as follows:

"The song concept is of positive prayer...
If you can imagine a world at peace, with no denominations of religion
Not without religion but without this my God-is-bigger-than-your-God thing— then it can be true ...
The World Church called me once and asked, "Can we use the lyrics to 'Imagine' and just change it to Imagine one religion?"
That showed me, they didn't understand it at all!
It would defeat the whole purpose of the song, the whole idea!"

-- Lennon on Imagine lyrics

My additional take on this is, the organized religion originated from middle east (Judaism v1.0, 2.0 and 3.0) is based on:
"My-God-is-bigger-than-your-God thing", "My-Religion-is-bigger-than-your-Religion thing", "My-Holy Book-is-bigger-than-your-Holy Book thing".
A manifestation of PRIDE.

The entire universe is actually ONE in unity.

The survival of Washington's domination of the UN
by Thierry Meyssan
When it was created, the United Nations held out the ideal of equality between peoples and nations. However, from the very first months of its existence, Washington and London supported Israel against the Palestinian people. Then Washington falsified the Security Council, seating Formosa in China's place and provoking a boycott of the USSR. Today, US domination of this institution is denounced by a vast majority of member states. At the same time, the BRICS are lining up to bring the institution back into line with international law.

VOLTAIRE NETWORK | PARIS (FRANCE) | 20 DECEMBER 2023
DEUTSCH ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΆ ESPAÑOL FRANÇAIS ITALIANO NEDERLANDS PORTUGUÊS РУССКИЙ

On December 12, 2023, the United Nations General Assembly demanded, by a 153-vote majority, an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.
In the space of a year, the UN General Assembly has undergone profound changes: in October 2022, 143 states, led by Washington, condemned Russia's "illegal annexations" in Ukraine, while in December 2023, 153 states called for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza, against Washington's advice.

In the past, Washington could threaten many states and force them to agree with it and adopt its rules. Today, it is less frightening:

Of course, the US Special Operations Command (USSoCom) can carry out secret military interference in any country in the world at any time, and assassinate any of its leaders, but such deployment seems increasingly unlikely in large countries.

Of course, the Treasury Department can prohibit trade with a particular state, thereby sinking the economy of the recalcitrant or even starving its population. But Russia and China now offer a way of breaking this economic siege.

Of course, the gigantic communications interception machine of the "Five Eyes" (Australia, Canada, USA, New Zealand, UK) can reveal the turpitudes of any recalcitrant, but some leaders are honest and therefore cannot be blackmailed to the detriment of their population.

From this point of view, the list of states that voted against the Gaza ceasefire is enlightening. In addition to the United States and Israel, it includes a number of regimes of surprising character:
- Austria
Karl Nehammer is a political communications trainer. He's so good at it, he'd be able to put just about any decision through. A career military man, he has worked with Washington as an intelligence officer trainer. Today, he is Chancellor of this former neutral state.
- Guatemala
The Italian-Guatemalan president, Alejandro Giammattei, is the representative of a small group of capitalists. He fights hard against those who fight corruption, incarcerating prosecutors, leaders of human rights associations and inquisitive journalists. A staunch ally of the United States, he is the only Latin American head of state to have visited Kiev and Taiwan.
- Liberia
The country is still presided over by footballer and singer George Weah. President-elect Joseph Boakai has yet to be sworn in. With no political experience, Weah has chosen Jewel Taylor, wife of the criminal against humanity Charles Taylor, as his vice-president.
- Micronesia
Micronesia was occupied by the United States until President Ronal Reagan accepted its independence. Today, however, it remains under trusteeship, its defense being provided by the Pentagon.
- Nauru
A small country with fewer than 10,000 inhabitants, Nauru has only been independent from the British Empire since 1968. Everyone at the United Nations knows that "President" David Adeang is opportunistic and corrupt. It is always possible for those who pay to obtain a favorable vote from this country.
- Papua New Guinea
Papua New Guinea has only been independent from the British Empire since 1975. Seven months ago, its current Prime Minister, James Marape, signed an agreement authorizing the United States to use his territory as a forward base in the Pacific. They have full access to all its ports and airports in exchange for various investments. When he moved his embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, James Marape declared: "For us who call ourselves Christians, we cannot fully respect God unless we recognize that Jerusalem is the universal capital of the people and nation of Israel".
- Paraguay
Paraguay's current president, Santiago Peña, is trying to rejuvenate the country's institutions, while praising the anti-communist dictatorship of General Alfredo Stroessner.
- Czech Republic
You're probably surprised to see a second member of the European Union on this list. That's because you missed the election of its new president, General Petr Pavel, a personal friend of the US ambassador in Prague. He was trained in the USA and the UK and became chairman of NATO's military committee. A former collaborator of the Soviet occupiers, he has completely rewritten his biography and transformed himself into a modern Westerner, but uses his power to align his country with Washington.

Twenty-three other states abstained. These are Washington's allies, not mere puppets like their predecessors. In any case, the West no longer has a majority (97 votes). The G7 is no longer a point of reference.

In this respect, it's hard not to take note of the current situation in Japan, where a judicial inquiry has brought to light the widespread corruption of the political class. Between 2018 and 2022, at least $500 million was paid to 99 members of parliament from the Liberal Democratic Party, which has been in power continuously for 67 years (except for two interludes totalling 4 years). What is presented as a "great democracy" is, in reality, nothing more than a show masking a mafia system.

How can the G7 claim to embody and defend noble values?

The Brics, whose new members will take their place on January 1, 2024, now represent more than half of humanity. They are working towards a multipolar world. In their minds, and contrary to Western nightmares (the Thucydides trap), it's not a question of replacing the United States with the China-Russia duopoly, but of abandoning Western rules and returning to International Law. If you don't understand what I'm talking about, read my article on this subject: "What international order?" [1]. Most of us are unaware that the members of the "international community" (i.e. Washington and its vassals) no longer respect their signatures and violate their commitments, starting with Resolution 181 [2], which provided for the creation of a Palestinian state, or, more recently, Resolution 2202, which was intended to prevent war in Ukraine. They ignore the fact that their so-called "sanctions" are weapons of war and violate the principles of the UN Charter.
The evolution of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly puts it in the same position as the League of Nations (League) in 1939. Whereas the President of the United States, Woodrow Wilson, had profoundly modified the original SDN project by rejecting equality between peoples, the UN recognizes it in its texts, but not in practice, as shown by its handling of the Palestinian question, for example. In both cases, it's a question of preserving Anglo-Saxon domination of the world, from outside the League (which Washington refused to join after modifying its statutes) or from inside the UN (which Washington joined, but whose statutes it never respected). Hence the question: will the Brics succeed in reforming the UN and bringing it back into line with its principles, or will they fail to preserve the peace?

With this in mind, the General Assembly did not content itself with demanding an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza [3]. It began by adopting a series of resolutions demanding the implementation of resolution 181, whose non-application had led to the current mess. In particular, it demands that Israel compensate the Palestinians it expelled seventy-five years ago for their property [4].

Caitlin Johnstone: Gaza Atrocities Are 'Western Values'
December 21, 2023
Save
What we see in Gaza is a much better representation of what Western civilization is really about than all the gibberish about freedom and democracy we learned in school.

Israeli forces bombing Gaza Strip on Oct. 10. (Al Araby, Wikimedia Commons, CC BY-SA 3.0)

By Caitlin Johnstone

Listen to Tim Foley reading this article.

When Israeli President Isaac Herzog described the assault on Gaza as a war "to save Western civilization, to save the values of Western civilization," he wasn't really lying. He was telling the truth — just maybe not quite in the way that he meant it.

The demolition of Gaza is indeed being perpetrated in defense of Western values, and is itself a perfect embodiment of Western values. Not the Western values they teach you about in school, but the hidden ones they don't want you to look at. Not the attractive packaging with the advertising slogans on the label, but the product that's actually inside the box.

For centuries Western civilization has depended heavily on war, genocide, theft, colonialism and imperialism, which it has justified using narratives premised on religion, racism and ethnic supremacy — all of which we are seeing play out in the incineration of Gaza today.

What we are seeing in Gaza is a much better representation of what Western civilization is really about than all the gibberish about freedom and democracy we learned about in school.

A much better representation of western civilization than all the art and literature we've been proudly congratulating ourselves on over the centuries.

A much better representation of western civilization than the love and compassion we like to pretend our Judeo-Christian values revolve around.

It's been so surreal watching Western rightists babbling about how savage and barbaric Muslim culture is amid the 2023 zombie resurrection of Bush-era Islamophobia, even while Western civilization amasses a mountain of 10 thousand child corpses.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken with Herzog in Tel Aviv on Nov. 3. (State Department, Chuck Kennedy)

That mountain of child corpses is a much better representation of Western culture than anything Mozart, da Vinci or Shakespeare ever produced.

This is Western civilization. This is what it looks like.

Western civilization, where Julian Assange awaits his final appeal in February against U.S. extradition for journalism which exposed US war crimes.

Please Make Your Tax-Deductible DONATION Today

Where we are fed a nonstop deluge of mass media propaganda to manufacture our consent for wars and aggression which have killed millions and displaced tens of millions in the 21st century alone.

Where we are kept distracted by vapid entertainment and artificial culture wars so we don't think too hard about what this civilization is and who it is killing and maiming and starving and exploiting.

Where news cycles are dominated more by celebrity gossip and Donald Trump's latest mouth farts than by the mass atrocities that are being actively facilitated by western governments.

Where liberals congratulate themselves for having progressive views on race and gender while the officials they elect help rip apart children's bodies with military explosives.

Where Zionist Jews center themselves and their emotions because opposition to an active genocide makes them feel like they are being persecuted, and where Israel supporters who are not Jewish still kind of feel like they are being persecuted also.

Where a giant globe-spanning empire powered by militarism, imperialism, capitalism and authoritarianism devours human flesh with an insatiable appetite while we congratulate ourselves on how much better we are than nations like Iran or China.

These are Western values. This is Western civilization.

Ask somebody to tell you what their values are and they'll give you a bunch of pleasant-sounding words about family and love and caring or whatever. Watch their actions to see what their actual values are and you'll often get a very different story.

That's us. That's Western civilization. We say we value freedom, justice, truth, peace and free expression, but our actions paint a very different picture. The real Western values, the actual product inside the box underneath the attractive label, are the ones you see acted out in Gaza today.
