Hi,

I'm new here in the forum.

I came to conclusion that Quran and Quran alone should be followed and not interpretations of people who say things on their own.

I don't know what to say, I'm totally confused right now about how this works.

Welcome to the forum..
It pays to test our religion with studying, searching and reflecting.

There are two ways to test our religion:

1) Follow our instinct and challenge all the doubts we have in our head and the contradictory bits that we come across. We must be brave and honest with ourselves , not heed to peer and social pressure.,but use our eyes,,ears and brain and work hard at it.
Always checking how just and fair we are with ourselves and others

2) Go with the flow, live life ignoring our instinct and stay with our desires and false loyalties, even defend our way and false beliefs, ignoring justice and fairness to our own soul and others until our death. Then we will surely find out if we had the true religion at GOD s. But this can be too late to correct..

So we can test it before we die or wait till death arrives GOD is very much aware of our intentions and applications.
Best of luck with your journey.
GOD bless you.
Peace.

:welcome: to the forum

This is a place where we grow by learning the truth.  Sometimes that growth can challenge our perceptions.  However Allah wants us to find the truth because
Allah is the truth (AL Haqq).

Here are a couple of tools you may find useful if you don't already have them.

Hi,

I'm new here in the forum.

I came to conclusion that Quran and Quran alone should be followed and not interpretations of people who say things on their own.

I don't know what to say, I'm totally confused right now about how this works.

Just start reading the Quran, and what is made easy of it.

73:20 ......So read what is made easy of the Qur'an. He knows that there will be sick among you, and others that go forth in the land seeking from the bounty of God, and others who are fighting in the cause of God, so read what you can of it. And uphold the commitment and contribute towards purification and lend God a loan of righteousness. And whatever you put forth yourselves, you will find it with God, for it is better and a greater reward. And seek the forgiveness of God, for God is Forgiving, Merciful.

For me, the easiest things to understand are:

1. Believe in one God. It's not possible to have more than one God, the creator, the administrator of the universe and do not associating partners with God with religious leaders who make laws besides God's laws
2. Avoid evil deeds. Do not commit corruption and collusion to gain personal gain. Do not commit adultery, and do not cheat, etc
3. Do good deeds. Give the money you love to help people around you (parents, relatives, poor people, orphans etc). Just remember, it must be the money that you love, not pennies that easy to give. In my case, it's 20% of my monthly net income.
4. Believe in last day. That all of these will come to an end, and we will get reward or punishment for what we have done in this worldly life.

These are the essence of the teachings of the Quran.

Peace

Bashar
