How do you define the following of Muhammad's footsteps?

My question is from all the followers of the God's Words (The Quran) who also follow follow the Muhammad's footsteps alongside it. For example, many followers of the God's words still pray 5 or 3 times a day and still fast in Ramadhan for a whole month.

So my question is, How do you define Sunnah as a only Quran follower?

Sunna of Allah never changing... There is no other sunna other than following what God has commanded and instructed and recommended to do..

If they pray 05 times or three times or two times and if they feel and accept quran and if that what is felt right for them then no one between their faith other than Allah and themselves.. They are not against Allah even though they make mistakes unknowingly... But God guides always to right path his believers..
Same for Fasting and if they feel that fasting is complete month according to quran then no one can change them and if they feel it is the right option... Coz they are already believers and the right guidance surely would reach them ... for example sitting for an exam with right intent without cheating but still opt for wrong answers and somehow manage to go over the hurdle with doing right thing in accumulation then he is through...
But leaving God's book and choosing another book and thinking that they are doing right is sheer misguidance.. Hope you got me..

I was watching many a video on rejection of hadith...
Are these people well attired and we'll accepted in Sunni society really unaware of what they talk about or they act or they are relatively and definitely blinded from understanding Quran...
Amazing they brung leaders and twisting manifest verses... I am sure you guys would have seen these type of videos

I can only choose what GOD s message Qoran instructs/ confirms. If I choose what is not confirmed by Qoran, then I disobey GOD if I take any messenger or any other human as authority/partner with GOD.

Qoran alone as the only source of redemption, not some words/opinions OF HUMANS that can  or cannot  be confirmed from Qoran.

As a man ,the prophet had his own opinions as well like you and me and made mistakes like all humans do. Did he leave us his sunnah like he left us Qoran? i.e to be passed on from him to us like he left us Qoran!! He himself acknowledged and followed Qoran. He only left us one book ,Qoran.
It was others after him that invented these tradition to keep the power of "false Islam".

That is why each needs to check with Qoran. Obey GOD and obey the messenger does not mean obey the messenger and disobey GOD. I t only means  "Obey the message  of GOD" i.e obey both if there is no contradiction or issue with Qoran/GOD S message.
His sunnah and the hadiths books are not GOD s words, they are his own words and some others reporting to us his words supposedly. He is not his own messenger and never claimed to be delivering his words.
In that case one is obeying GOD and His message  by following Qoran Alone.
What argument can possibly convince believers otherwise?

We can ask a better question:
How does Qoran -GOD s words- define following other than GOD Alone and His words? Then one can find the answer to your question with ease:

GOD knew the majority of followers of Qoran after the prophet will invent a new religion. GOD left them to the sunnah, hadith and Traditional Islam .
However they helped shooting themselves in the foot preserving GOD s words by mouth-GOD s plan-  unaware that GOD will teach it to the sincere believers. Those who choose GOD s words above men s words and value GOD as He should be valued.

This is my understanding from verses of Qoran:

6:115″ The word of your Lord is complete in truth and justice. ( do you need the word of Humans in religion?) Nothing shall abrogate HIS words. HE is the Hearer, the Omniscient."

6:116:" If you follow the majority of people on earth, they will divert you from the path of GOD. They follow only conjecture; They only guess."

6:112″ We have permitted the enemies of every prophet, to inspire in each other fancy words in order to deceive. ( to test their loyalty?) Had your Lord willed, they would not have done it. You should disregard them and their fabrications."

6:113:" This is to let the minds of those who do not ( really) believe in the hereafter (and  accountability!) listen to such fabrications and accept them and thus expose their real convictions."

6:114″ Shall I seek other than GOD as a source of law ( and religion!); When HE has revealed to you this book fully detailed? ( No need for the words of men?) Those who received the scripture ( before you) recognise that it has been revealed from your Lord truthfully. ( With proof  that it is the word of GOD? )  You shall not harbour any doubt."

6:137″ Thus were the idol worshippers duped by their idols ( made up rules/ misled by the words of men?) to the extent of killing their children. ( Like stoning for adultery  killing apostates...) In fact their idols inflict  great pain  upon them ( invent laws/rules , Write their own books and claim it is from GOD ,Mix in traditions, Add/ takeaway...) and confuse their religion for them... Disregard them and their fabrications."

6:140″ Losers indeed are those who killed their children ( Followed these fabricated rules!) foolishly, due to their lack of knowledge and prohibited what GOD has made lawful and followed innovations ( and traditions) attributed to GOD. They have gone astray; They are not guided."

7:3″ You shall follow what is revealed to you from your Lord. ( Only the word of GOD!) Do not follow any idols. ( Do not follow the words of men!) Rarely do you take heed!"

7:6″ We will certainly question those who received the message ,( then made up doctrines, false religion,...) and we will question the messengers."

7:7″ We will inform them ( all humans on the day of judgement) authoritatively, for We were never absent."

7:51″ Those who do not take their religion seriously, ( follow blindly the words of men!) and are totally preoccupied with this worldly life; ( have got other more important priorities/ other motives) We forget them on that day (Resurrection!) like they forgot that day( themselves!) and because they spurned our revelations." (Did not follow the words of GOD, followed the words of men!)

7:52″ We have given them a scripture that is fully detailed, ( Is this true? Check it?) with knowledge, guidance and mercy for the people who believe."

( Did GOD  give Moses the Tablets? HIS own words? Did GOD require the children of Israel to write their own words?)

7:169″ Subsequent to them, ( The children of Israel) HE (GOD) substituted new generations who inherited the scripture .(The word of GOD!) But they opted for  the worldly life instead, ( and the words of Men!) saying:" We will be forgiven", but then they continued to opt for the materials of this world. ( and justify their deviation from the word of GOD!) Did they not make a covenant to uphold the scripture (and only follow the word of GOD!) and not to say about GOD except the truth? Did they not study the scripture? ( It forbade them from following idols?) Certainly the hereafter is far better for those who believe (and  stay loyal to GOD!) and maintain righteousness ( Follow the word of GOD only!). Do you not understand?"

7:181″ Among our creation there are those who guide with the truth ( and follow  only the word of GOD!) and the truth renders them righteous."

8:29″ O you who believe, if you reverence GOD, ( Stay loyal, only follow HIS word!) HE will enlighten you, ( Teaches you HIS religion) remits your sins and forgives you. GOD possesses infinite grace."

8:59″ Let not those who disbelieve ( rather follow their own/others innovations, creates false religions/other...) think they will  get away with it. They can never escape." ( We all go back to GOD?)

8:73″ ... Unless you keep the commandments of GOD, ( and follow only the word of GOD!)  there will be Chaos on earth and terrible corruption."

9:78″ Do they not realise ( all humans!) that GOD knows their secrets and their conspiracies and that GOD is the knower of all secrets?"

10:60″ Does it ever occur to those who fabricate lies ( invent false religions, write their own rules/books...) about GOD that they will have to face HIM on the day of judgement?"

11:116″ If only some of those among the previous generations possessed enough intelligence to forbid evil. ( and not follow the words of Men, that create divisions/ sects, hatred...) Only few of them deserved to be saved. As for the transgressors, they were preoccupied with their material luxuries. They were guilty." ( Of inventing /following lies about GOD!)

11:118″ Had your Lord willed all the people would have been one congregation. ( of believers) But they will always dispute the truth." ( We have chosen – freedom of choice- God will not force anyone. Everyone needs to make their own decision? )

11112″ Therefore continue on the path you have been enjoined to follow. ( submission and total loyalty to GOD ALONE) Together with those who will repent with you ( If that is the choice they want to make!) and do not transgress. ( This choice requires following GOD ALONE and His words only!) HE is seer of everything you do."

11:119″ Only those blessed with mercy from your Lord ( will not dispute this truth!) That is why HE created them. ( To test their loyalty!) The judgement of your Lord has already been issued!" ( GOD knows the past, the present and the future?)

GOD s religion has only GOD s words as a source. Following the footsteps of  men s words is idol worship/ following a partner with GOD!!!

Yes we know this is a well known topic.. I mean obey God and obey Messenger.. Literally main stream end up saying Obey Allah means Quran and obey Messenger means Sunnah that is to say Sunnah written in authentic Hadith.. So they are happy with it...
What's wrong with these people while having knowledge.. Don't they use their intellect..
I humbly ask if there is any mainstream person who reads this thread.. Reflect well and answer.. I know satan has diverted but you are still on your brain.. Reflect..
Yes everyone like in the above two videos Mufti Menk and the other gentleman they reiterate obey Allah and obey messenger.. Parroting verses after verses and substantiate them to follow Hadith.. Otherwise how to pray haj Zakath Blaaa blaa they say.. So laymen people surrender.. On top of that they reiterate laymen should ask the scholars of Islam.. So poor followers end up accepting them..
But what if I say obey Messenger and obey God instead of Obey God and obey messenger.. Well.. Does it make any difference to you..  It has difference. 
God is great.. I don't need to say but God himself said it... But in best way. 

Verse 4:80
"He who obeys the Messenger indeed has obeyed Allah ;...."

Well.. Do you see the difference my mainstream friends.. You don't see.. Right.. But.. We do see.

Now let me replace the verse with actual scenario..

Hmm obey hadith then you automatically obeyed Quran.. Wow..

Your great mufti Menk Zakir Naik and all those scholars do say ..Obey Allah = Quran.. Obey Messenger = Sunnah of Prophet.. If in doubt see their videos. Before it is deleted seeing this.. Lol. 

Note the grammar in verse 4:80 carefully.. He who obeys (present tense) the Messenger, indeed Obeyed (past /perfect tense) Allah..

You have to keep obeying the message of God through our life and indeed you OBEYED God.. No doubt..

Now this verse we read now...  Leave us aside.. But Quran came to people of Muhamed and those surrounded while it was revealed..
Does that mean they were asked to follow the sunnah of physical mohamed and then they indeed obeyed God.? Come on don't be so insane while you have brain..

You know conventional people, you can fool among yourself but you can't hide the truth with your foolishness...

The truth is verse 4:80 literally says.. He who obeys quran indeed obeyed Allah... Why? Coz Quran is word of God THEOUGH the mouth of His messenger..

but unfortunately who will reflect other than God's true believers..

I just wanted to add something here for your kind views.

1. Suppose you are in prophets time ,  And Prophet ask you to do something. Will you have the guts to compare what he says with Quran and then act? or correct him or say sorry I CANT  act on what you command or ask me because it is not aligned with message of Quran? Or you would be under the assumption at that time that what ever prophet ask is or can not be wrong, but right because he is gods messenger.. What are your thoughts?

2. On the issue of prophet making mistakes, we seen it in Quran verses , be it Noah asking lord to save his son while Noah should have known that his son is not a good person. Or Prophet Mohammed himself 80:1-12. or Younus abandoning his people.

3. Finally, a prophet is also NOT like a normal person like us. He is entrusted with the trust of God. is there any example where God has cursed a prophet hell ?  In quran god commanded us to believe in all prophets and god himself witness by saying names of his prophets and tell us those are good people meaning God is confirming all prophets a paradise guaranted. In which case a prophet is never like a normal person whereby a norml person will have the test and on day of judgement he will be judged and thenhe would know what is the outcome.... this may not be the case with all prophets? so there is a distinction clear. RIGHT?


Some of the relevant verses:
[9:43] (O Prophet), may Allah forgive you! Why did you give them leave to stay behind before it became clear to you as to who were truthful and who were liars?

[9:44] Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day will never ask your leave to be excused from striving (in the cause of Allah) with their belongings and their lives. Allah fully knows the God-fearing.

69:44-47]
"And if he (Muhammad) had forged a false saying concerning Us (Allaah),
We surely would have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might),
And then We certainly would have cut off his life artery (aorta),
And none of you could have withheld Us from (punishing) him"


53:1-5
"By the star when it goes down (or vanishes).
Your companion (Muhammad) has neither gone astray nor has erred.
Nor does he speak of (his own) desire.
It is only a Revelation revealed.
He has been taught (this Qur'aan) by one mighty in power [Jibreel (Gabriel)]"

38:23-24
"and he [Dawood] sought forgiveness of his Lord, and he fell down prostrate and turned (to Allaah) in repentance.
So We forgave him that, and verily, for him is a near access to Us, and a good place of (final) return (Paradise)"

66:1
"O Prophet! Why do you forbid (for yourself) that which Allaah has allowed to you, seeking to please your wives? And Allaah is Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful"

Finally god mentions names of many prophets and refer to them as good doers.

"Indeed, We have revealed to you, as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And we revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book." (Holy Qur'an 4:163)

"And We gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - all We guided. And Noah, We guided before; and among his descendants, David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the doers of good." (The Holy Qur'an 6:84)
