I understand about the arctic treaty and military presence. But if there is an ice wall all around the world, then it's guarded at every point? If everyday people wanted to travel there, they could from every country since it apparently surrounds all of the earth. So why hasn't everybody ever managed? Surely not every single part of the ice wall is guarded? That would require a lot of military presence circling the entire world?
Why isn't there at least one photograph of the dome? Apparently, it's made of ice as well. I've only read some accounts of it from sailors from the 1800s-1900s but that's all and they presented no evidence of the dome so we have to take their word for it (just like with NASA and their composite images and fisheye lenses).
However, it is peculiar that Richard E Bird called one of their projects, operation fishbowl as far as I can remember. It's also strange that you can't visit Antarctica (unless you're near the edge but then no further). I doubt it's because they care for our health or to protect wildlife. It seems like they're hiding something.
