good logic

Peace tutti_frutti.
Also ,if it may help, I can tell you what I did.
Like many I was looking for some"best" translation when I started  my curiosity with Qoran.. I looked at  yousef Ali and marmaduke  first, then went on to browse the net with similar sites like you have been given above.

Although my prefered two ended up being Rashad Khalifa and Mohammed Asad, I decided on studying Arabic, learning as much as I can to see if I can do my own translation, because I still have issues with all the translations out there.

I am not saying I will produce my own translation for others , I am saying I wanted to verify with the Arabic and see the Arabic context for myself and try to sort out "my issues" with other translations.
I believe, every individual should search their own translations from what there is out there and from what they can learn themselves.
Also GOD should not be left out of this journey. I have found GOD to be a very essential "help"  to me so far. Qoran says GOD explains it to all those seeking to study and understand Qoran with sincerity.
I am finding it an ongoing project..
Best of luck.
GOD bless you.
Peace

salam good logic

thank you for your reply

i have been searching for good translations. i cannot find one yet that i seem veeeery content with as it seems the translators always insert their understandings into their translations

i am looking for a translation that translates the Quran as it is without any of the translator's interpretation stemming from his beliefs inserted in it

i very strongly disbelieve in code 19 and removing 2 verses from Coran so i avoid translations that do that and that support code 19

my arabic is not that good but i can sometimes compare arabic text and english/french translations

yes indeed I will seek help from The God in finding a good translation and in understanding the Quran better

thank you very much

may God please bless you

Peace tutti_frutti.
Thanks.
You say ,quote:

Nothing bothers me about reading any translation  because I know that GOD is powerful and capable of making sure the full Qoran given to the prophet will be transmitted to all the generations. GOD will see to that. I do not worry about those who add or take away verses, nor do I worry about those who misinterpret verses or...
If the devil himself translates Qoran , I will take a good look at it.
My aim is to learn the do s and don ts and search for the truth even among "falsehood". The main point is for things to make sense to me especially  if I clearly see evidence of the truth.
GOD bless you.
Peace.

salam good logic

i hope The God guides you

i personally do not agree with those who have removed verses as i believe it to be blasphemous and i believe code 19 to be nonesense

im looking for a translation where there is no "interpretation" but rather a literal approach to the meaning of the verses exactly as they are :)

example : verse 69 of surah 7

hud pbuh tells his people That God increased them in "khalka" ... most translations translate the word "khalka " as "stature" or "power" etc

i understand the word "khalka" to be "creation"
The God increased the people of hud pbuh in creation in respect to noah's people

edip yuksel (i read his translation although sadly he removed the two verses of surah 9) and ali qari qurai got it right and the translation of the word "khalka" changes the whole meaning of the verse

by keeping the word creation (as it is the true translation i believe) i understand that noah pbuh and his people where different in creation than subsequent humans which makes me understand they were what scientists call neanderthals

things like that are very important to me :)

thank you

peace to you brother
