I commited zina 4 years ago.Can i still considered as 'zaniya'? I dont know arabic and i dont know if this world means who had comitted zina or who still commits zina.I dont do it anymore.And i know 24:3 .Can somebody fluent in arabic help me? I am wondering this because i want to marry someone and he never commited zina.Can we marry after i repent?

Zay-Nun-Ya = to mount, the mounting upon a thing, to commit fornication/adultery, fornicator/adulterer.

Yaznuuna (imp. 3rd p.m. plu): They commit adultery or fornication
Yazniina (imp. 3rd p.f. plu.): They f commit adultery or fornication
Zaanii (act. pic. m. sing it is Zaaniin where final nuun is dropped): One who commits adultery or fornication; Adulterer or fornicator.
Zaaniyatun ( act. pic. f. sing.): Adulteressor or fornicatoress

I believe verse 24:5, which declares an exception for those who do tawbah and reform, may apply to all the preceding verses regarding zina. Thus it may also apply to you.

All people who repent to GOD,regardless of the mistake/sin, GOD will gorgive if they are sincere.
Do not dwell on past mistakes and look forward to GOD s mercy. GOD loves the sincere repenters and those that turn to Him for guidance.

If you don't mind, would you clarify a bit on what you did 4 years ago? Perhaps what you did does not fall under zina
