El Masih-Messiah-
« on: January 06, 2020, 03:20:33 AM »
Peace All.
I am just wondering if anyone has watched the series El Masih. This series-10 episodes- are currently showing on Netflix.
As films tend to be, there are a mixture of facts and fiction, but may be some of you will find it interesting.
What do you think?
GOD bless you all in this new year and in the coming years.
Peace.

Peace,

i dont watch Netflx but a messiah is planned.

There will be one who will be an anti-christ for the ones but a christ for the others. And there will be the one who will be the christ for the ones but an anti-christ for the others.

Plato's state development analysis predicts a tyrannical authoritarian state after a free democratic constitution which becomes less controllable through freedom of speech, thought, art, information and so on. Those who are successfully domesticated through plutocrats will welcome someone who will think and make decisions for them after the collapse of the previous constitution.

Peace quincy.
Let me recap the end of El Masih episode , quote:

Though the Netflix show's ending did not give us conclusive evidence as to whether the character is credible or a conman, it did answer a number of questions viewers may have had about Al-Masih's "powers," as well as suggesting he may not be the only person on Earth to have such powers.
In that final episode, titled "The Wages of Sin," we learn that the character does have some very big, maybe divine, powers, including the power to bring people back from the dead.
After the plane that Al-Masih and former Mossad agent Aviram Dahan (Tomer Sisley) are traveling in is shot down by the U.S. government, the latter wakes up in a flowery field in the middle of the desert. He asks a young shepherd what happened to him, and it is revealed that Al-Masih, who is unharmed from the crash, resurrected him.

Al-Masih performs a miracle at the end of Netflix's "Messiah"

However, as one part of the ending suggests he has godly powers, other scenes suggest that he is a conman engaging the world in the biggest grift of all time. Eva Gellar (Michelle Monaghan), for example, learns that the so-called messiah was born on Earth, to a grandfather who raised him to be a conman in order to survive in their villageā€”a backstory Al-Masih actually confirms. Other scenes suggest he has a history of mental health problems. However, when compared to the evidence of the resurrection, this seems like an inconsequential detail.

It might, however, hint at a darker path for the character. When the show's characters were announced, Arabic speakers noted that the character's name may be a reference to Al-Masih ad-Dajjal, an Islamic character similar to an Antichrist figure. The ending of Messiah Season 1 did not confirm this, but Season 2 could see the character's dark plan start to emerge, especially as we learn more about his association with cyber-terrorist and anarchist....Or are the governments of the world the real Anarchists and Cyber- terrorists...

For those who watched season 1 watch out for season 2 coming in the future...
GOD bless you.
Peace.

peace GL, all,

I watched it. It was only ok in terms of quality TV. Not good enough to recommend in my opinion. The main reason I continued watching it was because I was surprised they made a series on this subject with Muslims / mid-east / Arabic featuring quite heavily in it. I don't think I'll watch the 2nd series.

That is all I was suggesting brother Wakas. That it is an OK film. An interesting film story with weird/unexpected plots and events.
Thank you for your take.
GOD bless you.
Peace.
