Myo inositol for diabetes
« on: June 21, 2019, 11:53:43 AM »
Inositol (vitamin B8), is a type of sugar with several important functions. It influences the action of insulin, a hormone essential for blood sugar control.
"Our study showed for the first time a direct beneficial effect of the supplementation with the association of myo- and d-chiro-inositol on glycemic parameters of subjects with T2DM. Particularly, a significant reduction in blood glucose and HbA1c levels was registered. Inositol supplementation did not lead to any side effect, confirming the safety of this molecule"

Which foods do you recommend?

For type 2 diabetes it would be to avoid processed foods. Stick with mainly plant-based wholefoods food (with minimal or no oils in cooking).
