Role and function of Prepositions
« on: June 04, 2019, 04:20:27 PM »
Strangely the Divine Discourse, a Non-fiction Book, begins with a Preposition:  بـِ

Any views about the role and function of prepositions in the text of Qur'an starting with this preposition.

"
  - the letter "B" (bā) ب
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pictographic meaning:
Home -> Protection, Hearth, Epicenter, Closed and Delimited Block, Blocked
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bet_(letter)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Phonetic meanings :
Ba => "Ba" first sound pronounced by the baby after the "Ma"
Father representation, protection, tutoring

Bab => "Door" => Protection of the house but also
representation of bias, Via, by, through, accompaniment, etc …

The 3 ideas come together and complement each other:
Protectorate <-> accompaniment <-> tutoring
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The thread is not about consonant Ba. It is about  Preposition:  بـِ. It is Part of Speech not just letter of alphabet.

Arabic is a spoken language. It is a language where meanings are embedded in a syllable smallest of which comprises of a consonant and a vowel, like  بـِ
a prefixed preposition (Part of speech: Particle)
