I am a Muslim
I was looking for a place to talk about Islamic matters

I like to start praying properly

I like to change my lifestyle and habits a bit .

I want to start praying to the god almighty to seek forgiveness for my sins

And i feel like starting as soon as possible

Thanks a lot for the reply .

I have decided to strictly wake up early in the morning .

Get a bath , Be prepared for the prayer times

I have even decided to go to the mosque at least 1 or 2 times a day to seek forgiveness for my sin .

If i was a christian , i would have visited the church daily at least once , I am not even sure if that is how it works for them

But my point is i like to stay a bit more close to god than usual .

I really want to seek forgiveness for my sins  .

And that is why i decided to go to mosque for and nothing else , to wash away my sins whenever possible .

I am IT person , Every time i need to do some research for my studies .

I have to stare into a ton of pornographic images to reach from a Point B from Point A .

I am getting sick of this , because i am married person with a Kid .

I also do not like YouTube these days .It is the same things in it mostly .

I like a bit of change from all these activities .

I believe in God and His messenger

I also think Quran is the only book that speaks about all the important things of our everyday Lives , and most of the things online are a huge waste of time .

I want to make my life a stricter one .

I seriously wish there was a Porn Free YouTube .

I nowadays spent a lot of time in front of YouTube Kids . My kid loves it .

I am also trying to make my kid stay away from the YouTube Kids channels , because i think it is addictive for Kids .

I am not a very Orthodox Person .

I know this may sound stupid . But that is the way i feel about this whole World wide web

OK , I did a quick search and changed my search settings to safety mode both on YouTube and Google .

I Don't think i can stay away from Good music and Movies for a long time .

But this is a good start , Blocking pornographic content .

Salaam,
I'm sorry you are suffering from porn addiction.  I almost went down that path. But before it got bad I stopped myself. It can be hard because once the addiction takes hold it can be almost impossible to get rid of. I would suggest seeking help. I'm not sure where you live but in some countries there are organizations that work specifically with people, men and women, who suffer from porn and sex addiction. Addiction is not something people can fix themselves.  Its nearly impossible.
