How the False Self Gets Created

The False Self is an artificial persona that people create very early in life to protect themselves from re-experiencing developmental trauma, shock and stress in close relationships. This False or "public" Self appears polite and well-mannered, and puts on a "show of being real." Internally, they feel empty, dead or "phoney," unable to be spontaneous and alive, and to show their True Self in any part of their lives.



Children create a False Self because they do not have enough emotional and social support to become emotionally and psychologically separate from their parents. This adapted Self can be either deflated and co-dependent or inflated and counter-dependent. The False Self

The codependent, deflated False Self is designed to please parents and maintain their conditional love. The counter-dependent inflated is designed to protect children from feeling their unmet dependency needs by maintaining distance between themselves and their parents. Unfortunately, the True Self which operates from a sense of integrity, personal authenticity and connection to wholeness gets sacrificed in both adaptive processes.

The deflated co-dependent False Self is a protective defense that helps children sustain their need for comforting intimacy and attunement with their mother, and to prolong the feelings of safety associated with the codependent stage of development. This co-dependent behavior also keeps people feeling weak and vulnerable, with strong needs to attach to others who seem stronger and more capable.

Proof of Messengership

Those who follow the Messenger (people of Ibrahim), the Unlettered (naturalist) Prophet (grand news for climate change), whom they find written down with them in the Torah and the Gospel (no religism), commanding them to do right/natural and forbidding them to do wrong/unnatural, making pure things halal for them and impure things haram for them, relieving them of their heavy loads and the chains which were around them. Those who have iman in him and honour him and help him, and follow the Light that has been sent down with him, they are the ones who are successful." (7:157)

No one had iman in Musa except for a few of his people out of fear that Pharaoh, and the elders, would persecute them. Pharaoh was high and mighty in the land. He was one of the profligate. Musa said, "My people! if you have iman in Allah, then put your trust in Him, if you are Muslims." They said, "We have put our trust in Allah. Our Lord, Do not make us a target (PAWNS) for this wrongdoing people, and rescue us, by Your mercy, from this kafir people!" We revealed to Musa and his brother: "Settle your people in houses/system (of non-cooperation and civil disobedience, anti-consumerism) in Egypt and make your houses/system places of worship/ecovillage and establish salat (natural duty) and give good news to the muminun."

Musa said, "Our Lord, You have given Pharaoh and his ruling circle finery and wealth in the life of this world, Our Lord, so that they may be misguided from Your Way. Our Lord, obliterate their wealth and harden their hearts so that they do not have iman until they see the painful punishment." He said, "Your request is answered, so go straight and do not follow the way of those who have no knowledge." We brought the tribe of Israel across the sea and Pharaoh and his troops pursued them out of tyranny and enmity. Then, when he was on the point of drowning, he said, "I believe that there is no god but Him in whom the tribe of Israel believe. I am one of the Muslims." (10:83-90)

Musa chose seventy men from his people for Our appointed time and when the earthquake seized them he said, "My Lord, if You had willed, You could have destroyed them previously and me as well. Would you destroy us for what the fools among us did? It was only a trial from You by which You misguided those You willed and guided those You willed. You are our Protector so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the Best of Forgivers. Prescribe good for us in this world and the Next World. We have truly turned/TAWBA to You." He said, "As for My punishment, I strike with it anyone I will. My mercy (FOR TAWBA) extends to all things but I will prescribe it for those who have taqwa and contribute toward purification, and those who believe in Our Signs (ie. seven conditions in 7:157)....
