2:57 And We shaded you with clouds, and sent down to you manna and quails: "Eat from the goodness of the provisions We have provided you." They did not wrong Us, but it was their souls that they wronged.

2:58 And We said: "Enter this town, and eat from it as you wish bountifully. And enter the passageway by crouching, and say: "Our load is removed," so that your wrongdoings will be forgiven, and We will increase for the good doers."

2:59 But the wicked altered what was said to them into a different saying, thus We sent down upon the wicked an affliction from the sky because they had transgressed.

2:60 And Moses was seeking water for his people, so We said: "Strike the stone with your staff." Thus twelve springs exploded out of it; each people then knew from where to drink. "Eat and drink from the provisions of God, and do not roam the earth as corrupters."

2:61 And you said: "O Moses, we will not be patient to one type of food, so call for us your Lord that He may bring forth what the earth grows of its beans, cucumbers, garlic, lentils, and onions." He said: "Would you trade that which is lowly with that which is good?" Descend Egypt, you will have in it what you have asked for. And they were stricken with humiliation and disgrace, and they remained under the wrath of God for they were disbelieving in the revelations of God, and killing the prophets without right; this is for what they have disobeyed and transgressed.

16:68 Your Lord inspired to the bee: "You shall take homes of the mountains and of the trees and of what they erect."

16:69 "Then you shall eat from every fruit, so seek the path your Lord has made easy." From its belly will emerge a liquid that has different colors, in it is a healing for the people. In that is a sign for a people who will think.

6:119 Why should ye not eat of (meats) on which Allah.s name hath been pronounced, when He hath explained to you in detail what is forbidden to you - except under compulsion of necessity? But many do mislead (men) by their appetites unchecked by knowledge. Thy Lord knoweth best those who transgress

THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING VEGAN, SOME OF THEM ARE EXTREMIST IN THEYRE VIEWS AND PRACTICE. SOME PEOPLE WANT A PLANT BASED LIFESTYLE BUT THEY SHOULD'NT ENFORCE THEYRE BELIFS UNTO A MAJORITY WHO ENJOY EATING MEAT OR CHICKEN. WHY CANT PEOPLE BE MODERATE IN THOUGHT AND PRACTICE. I PERSONALLY LIKE MEAT ALOT BUT I HAVE IT ONCE EVERY 4 OR 5 MONTHS. ITS IMPORTANT TO NOT BE EXCESSIVE YET EXTREME WITH FOOD. THE PROPHETS EATING LIFESTYLE WAS HEALTHY AND WHATS RECORDED ABOU HIM WAS THAT HE DID NOT EAT MEAT OFTEN.

There is in many people's mind an underlying assumption of hich they are not even aare that they have it.

They have the idea of an original, untainted state of things, where things ere natural and we, humans make it unnatural, and that hpainnes and truth are found only in that natural state of things. They seem to imagine a universe here nobody suffers and if e have to eat e eat things that do not suffer...

That of course is not so. The universe is never still nor is it natural, any mora natural than we or anything else are natural. Everything in the universe lives off something else. Exchange is the universal phenomenon. And suffering is just a part of life, as far as we can see or understand, for all sentient creatures, just as pleasure is. And no suffering nor pleasure nor life or death is forever or assured.

Those who are vegetarian because of pity to for animals do not realise that we are one, the universe is one, that everything in it exchanges nourishment and life and death. To isolate something that ould remain untainted or isolated and guaranteed is whimsical.

We all nourish everything else, and e get nourishment from everything else.

What the Qur'an tells us is that everything is with mizaan. See sura Ar-rahmaan.

That is hat the muslim and believer must strive to keep in mind, the mizaan, justice, hich is part of the divine rahma.
