Any Arabic person would know that the word كبىرا -BIG would go in 4:2 and 33:68.
So how can anyone make an error there? Unless it was a typing one?

It was around same time Warsh and Hafs debate; variant qira'at (readings), rearrangement of verses, initials (alif lam meem) in separate verses, hundreds alifs added e.g.

قران Qur’an (alif added)
likely it was to distinguish from words like
قرن qarnin/generation
obviously with context and cross-reference
