I see that this forum is very diverse. My ambition is to meet others outside the hadith-based systems in order to organize a community. It may take ten years or more, but it has to be done to save Islam as a philosophy and guiding light, but also to create the atmosphere that we deserve to become open. Right now I have started a group that studies arabic, and I hope to expand the activities to include historical research of Islam, and to study quranic philosophy. So I have questions for all of you in Northern Europe, or Sweden, where I live.
- What facebook-groups is worth visiting to come in contact with others outside traditional Islam?
- Do you think that organizing is worthwile, and would you wish to be a part of a future organization?(Even if it takes a couple of years of preperation.)
- If you seek to organize, what would be its core values and core structure?
- Am I late to the party? Maybe there already is an organization worth fighting for.
