From a lighter look,I am reminded of wisdom analogies :( Also  the edge of the roof reminded me of death!)

I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep - not screaming, like the passengers in his car.(unknown)

He spoke with the wisdom that can only come from experience, like a guy who went blind because he looked at a solar eclipse without one of those boxes with a pinhole in it and now goes around the country speaking at high schools about the dangers of looking at a solar eclipse without one of those boxes with a pinhole in it.
(Joseph Romm, Washington)

These are worse:
Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

When someone doesn't like something, it's often because they're not familiar with it, or they're too familiar with it.

Sorry brother,forgive me  if inappropriate. But I do get the message.
GOD bless you.
Peace.

It's fine Good logic, I like your positivity an kindness.

Here is another one, this one is from Attar of Nishapur and is purely sufism.

?When they had understood the hoopoe's words,
A clamour of complaint rose from the birds:
'Although we recognize you as our guide,
You must accept - it cannot be denied -
We are a wretched, flimsy crew at best,
And lack the bare essentials for this quest.
Our feathers and our wings, our bodies' strength
Are quite unequal to the journey's length;
For one of us to reach the Simorgh's throne [the simorgh is the parable of God, it's a legendary bird]
Would be miraculous, a thing unknown.
[...] He seems like Solomon, and we like ants;
How can mere ants climb from their darkened pit
Up to the Simorgh's realm? And is it fit
That beggars try the glory of a king?
How ever could they manage such a thing?'

The hoopoe answered them: 'How can love thrive
in hearts impoverished and half alive?
"Beggars," you say - such niggling poverty
Will not encourage truth or charity.
A man whose eyes love opens risks his soul -
His dancing breaks beyond the mind's control.
[...] Your heart is not a mirror bright and clear
If there the Simorgh's form does not appear;
No one can bear His beauty face to face,
And for this reason, of His perfect grace,
He makes a mirror in our hearts - look there
To see Him, search your hearts with anxious care.?

this my 300th post, a lovely number. I'm going to stop using the forum for an undetermined period of time time, until then, take care!

Peace Creberus.

I wish you a healthy and peaceful journey wherever you decide to go.
Enjoy(chosen for you):

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

How can you make sure you never miss your target? Shoot first, and whatever you hit, call it the target.

If you don't succeed at first, hide all evidence that you tried.

I told the doctor I broke my leg in two places. He told me to quit going to those places.

I know that I am intelligent, because I know that I know nothing.

You could agree with me, but then we'd both be wrong.

I never make the same mistake twice. I make it three four times, you know, just to be sure!

If what you've done is stupid but it works, then it really isn't that stupid at all.

I just finally discovered what's wrong with my brain: on the left side there is nothing right and on the right side, there is nothing left.

Finally:

My advice is to never listen to any advice, not even this one.

GOD bless you brother.
Peace.
