I was watching the below video and was surprised by how much the Zoroastrian religion and Islam have in common. Allah only mentions a few Prophets in the Quran but could Zoroaster also have been a true Prophet of Allah?

The video starts off slow but is a very interesting insight into the Zoroastrian mindset, religion and philosophy.

A Submitter

He isn't mentioned in the Quran.

According to some studies, the similarities were due to the acts of some people with authority absorbing older religions' practices (like zoroster, christianism, judaism, hinduism, buddism) and create a new religion named Islam.  A created religion just like any religion will only cause faction just like racism.  Religions are created to take away freewill and cause mind slavery.  The benefactors are the authorities whether in religion and politics are the same.

A study of the Quran will show it is a book full of wisdom and practical knowledge for everyday life and natural sciences based on observations to benefit mankind at the same time to manage the world we live in.  The Quran does not promote any religious practices except the need to acknowledged that there is a single creator and the need to request for help from that Creator.  But the manner in which one needs to ask is up to the individual.  To show acknowledgement one also needs to show gratefulness to the Creator by following the Quran.

As you know and many others do, the people have abandoned the Quran thus the similarities seen in all religions.

Prophets have been sent to all peoples. It is very likely that any religious figure who may hae been remembered and reverenced in traditions of different peoples may hae been indeed prophets.

Man of Faith

Zartosht/Zarathustra is Persian. Perhaps he is one of the Quranic prophets which bears another name in Semitic tradition.
