Is someone learning the Arabic grammar which is called a Nahw?

I learned that there are three types of words:

Ism - noun

Fihl - verb

Harf - preposition

And how do you study Arabic? I am studying it on the web, from different sources. It feels great to read the Arabic Quran after years of reading it from translations.
May He the Hearer grant us victory in the worldy life, and Hes abundance of Light on the Day of Judgement, and may He the King of kings grant us the eternal Paradise. Peace.

I learned Arabic grammer from lqtoronto.com
There are videos of lectures and downloadable books to go with the lectures. I found this site very easy for learning. For vocabulary I study Quran as much as possible and compare words in different verses to understand their usage.

Peace

Thanks for the link, the medinah books are very useful especially the grammar notes. All praise due to God, Lord of the worlds.

I had to ignore some titles and articles i saw on the home page. At the download page the books are provided free on pdf format.

I thought I read somewhere that you were offering to teach people arabic for free, maybe I missing something but how were you planning to do that if you do not know yourself elementary stuff.

Being taught by that is being gullible.

Making such and statement and not offering at the same time a better method is exceedingly discouraging and, let me say, improper. Someone is trying to make a start in learning something and such choice and disposition will always be PLAUSIBLE, no matter what method comes first or last. No one is born having being taught.

We become critical and questioning over the things we have already learnt and / or we have already been taught, otherwwise we can fall into arrogance and foolishness which, by the way and from the begining of times, have been invencible forces...

Have a great day full of learning  :peace:

Yeah, good memory.

I just wanted to teach others how to read the Quran in Arabic.

Explaining that the Arabic languages exists of words and that there are 3 categories doesn't mean that i do not know more then this?
