as far some nice debate here is the verse in which we need to ponder very carefully what does it mean... @ brother jaffar..

69:17 And the angels will be on its borders; and the Throne of your Lord will be carried, above them on that Day, by eight

when somebody read this ,the first impression comes in the mind that God will be there on this throne which is carried by eight angels...

but that understanding is making God limited in space...

so we have to look it again... then we may understand verse is not saying eight angels are holding God.... its infact a throne that they are holding...

and throne may be an office or a supreme authroity of controlling affairs which will be carried by angels .. that will bring out everthing .. or may b a court system like cabins who really know ...

so if we go to second option that sounds better.. i was also confused about couple of years ago when somebody told me that on the day of jdgement eight angels will carry the God ... but when i carefully look it i find it many ways to understand it...

hope anybody else got some more understanding regarding this...

good logic

Peace Imran.

I favour this translation of 69:17:
And the angels will be all around, and the dominion of your Lord will be/become eight(Universes)

As you know GOD has created 7 universes 7:143,on the day of judgement an eight universe will be created, it will be called hell 89:23. A universe even further away than our earth is from the seventh universe, for those who  do not wish to be closer to the Lord.

GOD bless you.
Peace.

where its written in any holy book that God is sitting in throne... ? do you really grasp what is the throne ..?

apart from this we may have debate on the verses that you just posted... everybody understandings are different ..

the throne is a supreme control of affairs of human kind what you can say an office of human files which is metaphorically calculated as the time which is out of our perception... if somebody really ponder about these verses  then it give them  more accurate understanding that time is relative ...

why you guys think that there is any mistake in the verses which you guys dnt have knowledge off...?

can you calculate the speed of angels ? do you know what is throne(supreme authority of God controlling) ? when you able to understand it literally then point out the mistakes literally...  i think so ... but every body have their own way ... of getting things ...

and yeh according to holy book God is everywhere .. i see you forget to mention those verses...
and again everywhere mean , control everywhere, see everywhere, hear everywhere...

Hi all,
Because I am the topic starter , I'll try to elaborate what I meant by Gabriel's self-map (and how it works).  I was wrong to think that someone would recognize it right away just by the words "Gabriel's self- map".

The baby (or human-like form) on the map represents Gabriel's or Shiva's body. Now when he (Gabriel/Shiva) touches a certain part of his body (say his knees), something happens in the location where his knees are located on the map. This could be anything , from earthquakes to wars or something else (Being the creator/destroyer that he is , it would make sense).   Remember what he did to Lots people.  If I'm not mistaken , that's in the Quran as well.

That's why it's called the self-map, because if other people would touch him , other rules apply.  I hope I clarified myself a bit.

Anyway, thanks for reading this,
Henri

GABI did not do anything with them.. its was  God ..

whenever any leaf fall on ground God is aware about it ... God is fully aware fully knowledgeable ...

everything whatever happen on anywhere in this space and time is in the controlling/malkiat  of God..

There seems to be a latency of 1000 years for things to reach God sitting on a throne in Heaven.. according to the so called "Holy Books"...

There seems also to be a necessity to pick cherry and use 1000 years old understandings to show to the world how ridiculous "holy books" are.

;)

some people pick cheeries which are already corrupted by farmers i mean useless cherries ...

some of them pick cheeries but they dnt know the difference between cheery and apple...

some of them pick cheeries but they think they pick grapes becoz they are color blind 2 : 7

some people pick cheery and eat it and enjoyed it but still unappreciative  becoz they are hypocrate farmers/kaffirs lol...

there are different flavors of farmers in the start of second chapter...

Yet you people tend to defend such understandings.
