Are the words about the act of causing death or (with respect) a stone building?  :peace:

Wakas

I assume you are referring to 'al masjid al haram'. If so, the great thing about the following article is you can slot in your understanding to see if it works and what issues arise etc
http://mypercept.co.uk/articles/meaning-masjid-al-haram-Quran.html

And you don't even need to read all of it, simply the "summary and discussion" part at the end.
All information in my posts is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should seek knowledge and verify: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11. My articles

Good work but with an intention not to deviate from the traditional understanding i think (or the minimal deviation for some reason)

with respect, the comments at the end that it is something connecting to  the HaJJ/feast/symposium is a little far fetched to my understanding of the quran- not that i am an expert or anything.

sura 17 regarding Moses journey from Msjd Hrm in the initial verses turns the tide and then sura 9 the mushriks not sticking to the terms of the treaty doing all the nasty things, so the believers are told to be on their guard against the wrongdoings and not let it happen not let them do such a thing not let them have a free hand for the nasty things keep them away from being able to do such things (keep them away from MSD HRM - forbidden submission).

MSD HRM - may only be entered during times of War - as the prophet did, as death and  chaos will arise.

Other verses also indicate this in other suras although a lot of it is mistranslated .

The qibla thing is not turning towards it but are told to turn away from it.

sorry but to my understanding their are no holy months in the quran - no months at all to my knowledge.

A lot of the verses are mistranslated to bring out a new meaning from what it actually was i believe to adopt the ways of the Hindu religion, who came to power as the shias say via Yazid he has a remarkable history also.

But God knows Best.

Some translations can infer a wrong meaning..........

22:25 Inna allatheena kafaroo wayasuddoona AAan sabeeli Allahi waalmasjidi alharami allathee jaAAalnahu lilnnasi sawaan alAAakifu feehi waalbadi waman yurid feehi bi-ilhadin bithulmin nuthiqhu min AAathabin aleemin

Indeed, those who disbelieved and hinder from (the) way (of) Allah and Al-Masjid Al-Haraam, which We made it for the mankind, equal, (are) the resident therein and the visitor; and whoever intends therein of deviation (or) wrongdoing, We will make him of a punishment painful.

To stop people from the way of Allah and not let them fight ( to enter what is forbidden) is very conniving.

I think like they where doing in Bosnia, the muslims weren't allowed to fight (no weapons) but they where being ............

2:142

The fools among the people will say: "What hath turned them from the Qibla to which they were used?" Say: To Allah belong both east and West: He guideth whom He will to a Way that is straight.

Maybe the straight way is the qibla

6.151

Say: "Come, I will rehearse what Allah hath (really) prohibited you from": Join not anything as equal with Him; be good to your parents; kill not your children on a plea of want;- We provide sustenance for you and for them;- come not nigh to shameful deeds. Whether open or secret; take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus doth He command you, that ye may learn wisdom.

6.152

And come not nigh to the orphan's property, except to improve it, until he attain the age of full strength; give measure and weight with (full) justice;- no burden do We place on any soul, but that which it can bear;- whenever ye speak, speak justly, even if a near relative is concerned; and fulfil the covenant of Allah: thus doth He command you, that ye may remember.

6.153

Verily, this is My way, leading straight: follow it: follow not (other) paths: they will scatter you about from His (great) path: thus doth He command you. that ye may be righteous

2.144

We see the turning of thy face (for guidance to the heavens: now Shall We turn thee to a Qibla that shall please thee. Turn then Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque: Wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction. The people of the Book know well that that is the truth from their Lord. Nor is Allah unmindful of what they do.

So it is sacred and not forbidden.

ALMASJID ALHARAM  THE SACRED SUBMISSION is accepting/following/acting upon the straight, above.

I think, End of my topic.
