i just discovered how great our being directed to the kaaba really is, it's like capote's doorway in a sense.

any thoughts on why it's so great? why we are to turn our faces toward it?

i'm considering it to have been his place of worship as well, if the man was a friend of ALLAH then believe ALLAH was with him even in his home. any other thoughts about how great a sign this is?

AQ 05:95

O ye who believe! Kill not game while in the sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb. If any of you doth so intentionally, the compensation is an offering, brought to the Ka'ba, of a domestic animal equivalent to the one he killed, as adjudged by two just men among you; or by way of atonement, the feeding of the indigent; or its equivalent in fasts: that he may taste of the penalty of his deed. Allah forgives what is past: for repetition Allah will exact from him the penalty. For Allah is Exalted, and Lord of Retribution.

From the above verse, the ka'ba, which means cube, is a place where the sacrificial animal is to be slaughter. The Holy Quran also mentioned in 22:33

In them ye have benefits for a term appointed: in the end their place of sacrifice is near the Ancient House.

No one does that anymore except worshipping the cube... :nope:
Q:02:32 - They said, "Exalted are YOU; we have no knowledge except what YOU have taught us. Indeed, it is YOU who is the Knowing, the Wise."
