Peace,

I will pray for this cause. May God's name be heard only in there forever, God willing.

Salam aleikum,

Very interesting, while I live in southern Spain sometimes I go to London and I would like to pray and talk with you. May be possible to open another quranist mosque in Seville and stablish a link between two mosques and two cities.

Please, if you have updated information about the quranist mosque in London post new information.

What is the situation of the issue just now?

Is it like typical traditional mosques that I have seen?:
-Carpeted
-No chairs or couches (like in churches)
-No pictures at all

To be honest, when I was a little girl I used to ask myself: "Why are churches so beautiful but mosques (the traditional mosques of course) look boring?"
This profile is dead. It was assasinated by its owner :D

I am no longer of an adherent or believer of any religion. So some of my views that have been expressed here may no longer represent or reflect my current views.

Totally agree. If we can make it look more like a church but just minus the excessive pagan paintings and statues of Mariam and Jesus everywhere then all good :D

I have to disagree with you. Traditional mosques are far more beautiful and pleasant to be in than churches. Churches tend to be dark and gloomy inside with hard wooden benches. Whereas mosques are filled with light and you sit on comfortable perfumed carpets. Perhaps European mosques aren't as beautiful and maintained as ones in the Middle East.

But as I may be moving to London later this year I'm also very curious.
How can I join this mosque of tawhid?
How do you all pray?
Do men and women pray together?
Do you maintain the Friday prayers and the khutbah?

Personally I perform the traditional prayer but I recite prayers from the Quran rather than the established things you are meant to say. But I'd be very interested in finding a true Quran-only community outside the internet.

Hello,

I'm interested in becoming a member of this masjid. Would you be able to send some info about it please?
Nice to see a quran only mosque open.

Thanks.
