As mentioned in some other threads I was brought up very non-religious(most of my family is either atheist or just against organized religion) despite having an interest in religion from a young age. Right from the beginning I was skeptical of Hadither sects of Islam so I eventually dismissed it entirely ultimately turning to atheism. However, that only lasted a couple years and once again I started opening up to religion. The more I learned the more I realized it was a silly concept that our salvation was entirely dependent on silly little ritualistic things as stated in ahadith. Again I became skeptical, until I stumbled upon a Wikipedia article about Qur'anism. This inclined me to learn more about it, realizing that in so many ways it seemed to represent my views. After researching and talking to people about it I realized that this was pretty much it, the path to God is through his scriptures only and not any man-made fabricated sources!
P.S- I also questioned why so many barbaric things were being done by muslims. I realized it was mostly justified through the use of various hadiths.
