(Woops. Didn't see that there was a news box.
Maybe one of the mods can bump it over, if they want.)

This I believe is monumental in the current world state. It takes joint effort of people to bring down corrupt regimes and I pray that this would be a domino effect of other countries including U.K and other capitalistic societies that are bent on serving the elites.

A book is only as good as it?s reader. Once opened symbols present themselves for the reader to decipher. We learn and relearn new conceptual models to comprehend these symbols. A book is only a tool.

Mad props to the people of Tunisia.

Indeed it shall be a domino effect, but not to U.K. I believe, but to it's Arab neighbor (Egypt,Syria,Sudan, Algeria, Lybia and perhaps Saudi Arabia).
This is the first time ever a (corrupt) Arab leaders being toppled by people power.
Previously it has happened many times on the other part of the world; France, Romania, Philippines, Indonesia, Ukraine and others..

Salam / Peace

I think it's actually, maybe, a kind of flower effect... just as they've chosen to call it "Jasmine Revolution".
Like a domino, yes, but more as in a series or latticework of spirals.

No, there's not going to be a massive, televised military coup in the U.K. or America or anywhere else that revolution has already had a profound impact on the culture. That is all done through more or less hidden channels, now, even if the military steps directly into the spotlight. I mean what happened when the Trade Centers fell? A terrorist attack or some kind of attempt at an internal coup? Doesn't even matter who did it, in that regard. That government is over -- it's been over since the 1st World War -- and we're left with some kind of illusion of what it is or how we're supposed to regard it.

But, even still, you have people crying freedom in the States and then slapping some religious decal on everybody's window as they somehow try to link a kind of global fascism and tyranny with some bogus ideal of a kind of 80s track suit religious crusade. It's not just Arab overlords that are the problem, obviously, and all these events are connected .....going back to ancient times.

Humans think together, like flocks and herds, even if they don't want to believe it.
They're smarter than they've been taught to believe. To understand that alone is a huuuuuuge leap.
To fear it only makes for a squeaky wheel.

And they won't stand for it. We've all got our own little printing factories, now.
No one likes being lied to and the whole thing is just a sham. An ancient imaginary wall.

It only exists in the mind.
