Peace,

Okay this was regarding Bollywood (the movie industry with the MOST film productions each year, even when compared with Hollywood), so I had to say something...a friend of mine once emailed me a picture (see below) and said this is what spiderman would look like if he signed up for an Indian movie and had this to say regarding Bollywood movies, which I thought was funny :D

Hindi movies (Bollywood) attempt to compensate for their lack of substance by drawing crowds to see elaborately staged gaudy costume dance sequences at the tune of hoolala dance numbers. And guess what? The Desi actually pays to go and watch it. The dance sequences usually occur out of place, marring the storyline. For example, when the two lovers meet, they  suddenly acquire pop artist voices (they move their mouths while the real song is sung in the backstage) and start dancing like choregraphed wizards. It happen at any random location, in a park or on a street or a combination of several random scenic locations. To make things more superficial, there is a dance number to every part of the storyline; the meeting, the breakup, hard times and the reunion.  Here is an animated GIF sent to me of how spiderman would perform if he signed up for a Hindi movie.
