It is simply an exemplar, that we must excercise the control of the emotions/jinn and use them for our benefit, thus controlled/useful jinn = malaika.
Agreed. Very simple. I am sure those who are just getting around to studying this will arrive at the same logical conclusion.
Mz357,
(7:179) And We had created to Hell many from the hidden ones (jinns), and the humans, for them (are) hearts they do not understand/learn with it, and for them (are) eyes they do not see with it, and for them (are) ears they do not hear with it, those are as the camels/livestock, but they are more misguided, those are the ignoring/neglecting
Looking at it from one verse only can sometimes give you the wrong understanding. For example, if you just look at a cerse that says "Obey the God and His messenger", you might draw the conclusion that there are two different messages to be followed. You might think that you are to follow the God, then you must seperately follow the messenger, not realizing that in terms of the message, it is the very same instruction. The God only seperates the PARTS FROM THE WHOLE(dismember) so we can learn each part, then we are to put the parts back together again (RE-MEMBER). "Jinn" normally comes before "Mankind" in this reading to illustrate the process of thought then action, from the inner to outer, unseen to seen.
Jinn are like seeds and mankind is the soil, what plants will you grow?
