Or IBN (Islamitische Bewustwording Nederland) is the name of our organization.

We want to build a big organization here with enough supporters to bring about a society of muslims who will interact and try to influence the masses in the muslim world and bring them back to islam and influence certain political and social processes in the muslim world in favor of democracy and the rule of secular law. (eventually inspired by quran)

We are activists, but the organization is undergoing some restructuring.. but soon we will make our presence felt.

Our influence on the muslims here is profound but still subtile. Some sunni organizations know us, and fear us very much. One of them even issued a "fatwa" against us and called us "dangerous" and "very acceptable at first glance".

Some people who were connected to these sunni sects, saw the light and came to us, by which as a reaction, some sunni radicalist activists came to our forum to try to get them back. They didnt succeed.

Untill now, most muslims we meet are positive towards us. Mostly they consist out of students (mostly Turks, Kurds, Hindustani's and Arabs and Berbers of mostly Moroccan origine, both males and females), Dutch converts or ex-sunni radicals.

The Dutch non-muslims are positive towards us too, however, mostly because of their false hope we neutralize or whipe out islam. They dont seem to understand the goal of IBN.

We want to be and stay in touch with everyone, nationally or internationally, who have the same thoughts concerning islam.

Our goals are great. We want to secure a powerbase in the Netherlands in order to project our influence in the muslimworld. With God's help, in order to bring about positive changes, we want to secure a powerbase in the muslimworld too. We believe that massive changes can only occur with massive means.

So whoever wants to contact us, be free.

Is it not enough for them that We have revealed to you the Book which is recited to them? Most surely there is mercy in this and a reminder for a people who believe.

Congratulations! :D

This is amazing progress, inshaAllah, it will continue to grow and you will meet your goals.
If they turn away, then Say: "God is enough for me, there is no god but He, in Him I put my trust and He is the Lord of the great throne." [9:129]

Hoink, what kind of fatwa? And dangerous on what ground?

What do you mean by "They don't understand us"? Isn't it your mission to make yourself heard? By repeating, teaching, organising lectures and so on.  You could even write articles to the media each time if some topics of the islam are under fire.

Don't wait untill you're a big organisation. When you already start doing things, people will notice it and if it's good, people will follow you.

Allah is with them who do good. Wish you success (bil tawfiq).

Update: the website of Alireza has been blocked/removed/is off the "air", because of supposedly (could be conjecture) "islamic" sectarians who contacted an organization that is against discrimination of people.

I really doubt that is the reason, I don't think it would be discriminatory in content and besides the Dutch believe in and respect freedom of speech. So really, why has the site gone down?

Alireza, I used to live in Den Haag, never heard of you guys back then, where are you based? Anyways, I wish you best of luck and hope all goes well with the IBN. I hope you'll keep us posted.

Peace

Peace,

The site was hacked and the organisation people were sick of the constant struggle, they wait now for new doors to open.

Salaam Alireza, all

Sorry Alireza, I think as Arnold mentioned, the site is hacked. It is full of links leading to porn sites. I had to remove it.

Wakas

If they can, they could consider transferring the site to another host server, unless their account in which they registered the domain got hacked and thus have no control over it. If this is the case, they should contact the company and sort it out.

So, no more messenger after him because he is the seal of the prophets.
The bigger crime than not reading, after given ?The Reading (Quran)??is NOT THINKING!

Do you think messenger and prophet is same world?

Are you still operating in the Netherlands?

I would like to contribute in the work since i have a "sunni/salafi" background. I was a former student of Bouchta & Abdelghafour which have ties with the SA "scholars".

But i came to the conclusion that they are just another sect that follows other sources beside the complete and fully detailed Quran.

Please feel free to respond by the will of God. I am very technical, have experience in IT, webdevelopment, video-editing, photoshop etc.

May my Lord guide me.

Peace.

in the quran messenger is a rasool, which carries to idea of 'sent' whereas prophet is Nabi, which carries the idea of 'Informing'

so in my understanding, a messenger is someone sent by god, whereas a prophet is someone who informs us of some information from God, that he has revealed. thus Nabi is more specific to someone who passes on Gods revelation, or inspiration, whereas, in my understanding a rasool could be anyone, sent by god, or commisioned by god to preach the message, to spread the message etc

although, again its only my understanding, which may well be incorrect. i am not an expert in arabic, in fact i only have limited knowledge and understanding of it.

peace
What could i say that is better than what God has already informed us of?
Follow God
Seek His guidance, the only guidance
Glory and Praise be to God, rabbil Aalameen

imrankhawaja

i think messenger is the one who brings a message from God can be human and non human, in case of jibraeel(gabriel)

whereas prophet is someboody who bring a message with book or commandments authroised by God.. like moses, david, jesus, muhammad, abraham etc,

God knows best..

Timotheus

peace, more or less i agree with this understanding, i believe the quran indicates this, though again, god is the all knowing, and we know very little apart from what he has blessed us with. it is something i would like a better understanding of, god willing.
