assalam-u-alikumwa rahmutullah,

CONCEITED PEOPLE

Hadhrat Abbas (R.A.) narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) has said, "Islam will spread far and wide, across the seas. Horses will cross the land and seas in the cause of Jihad.
Then a time will come wherein a group of people will emerge which recites the Qur'aan. They will claim," We have recited the Qur'aan. and is there anyone who understands the Qur'aan. better than us? There is no one more proficient than us in the study of the Qur'aan.".
Then Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) asked the Sahabah, "Do you see any good in their claims?"
The Sahabah replied, "No.
Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)) said, "But these conceited claimants will be from my Ummah and will be the fuel of the Fire.

If they turn away, then Say: "God is enough for me, there is no god but He, in Him I put my trust and He is the Lord of the great throne." [9:129]

My interpretation of the hadith above is as follows:
The enemies of Islam need to fabricate the above hadith in order to "support" their other fabrications.

Actually this is not hard to see once we are already aware that there are so many lies in hadiths. I would even say it is more surprising and unlikely if such hadith doesn't exist.

What really enrages me is when I go to these sites and claim Quran alone, and claim that I have
a personal relationship with God, and that I have Angels beside me guiding me, it sets THEM
on fire...

They all gang up on me, i have never seen such anger (fire), and hatred (fire)..

So i suppose I do feed the fire by saying what i do...
I bear witness that Rashad Kalifa is the Messenger of the Covenant

mr. humble

if the prophet (PBUH) uttered such a hadith, he would never lie, because Allah says in the quran says the prophet(PBUH) doesn't lie!

you might think it is a conspiracy, but how can you ignore the truthfulness of the hadith when we see most of the signs of the day of judgement is true.

We have recited the Qur'aan. and is there anyone who understands the Qur'aan. better than us? There is no one more proficient than us in the study of the Qur'aan.".

pretty much every quran aloner says that to in the face of another sunni muslim who is on the straight path. just because someone interpreted the quran differently that doesn't make that special someone to utter lies on the wisdom of the prophet granted by Allah. Muslims hate quran aloners for because they distort the truth, and making up their own rules to follow it and calling it islam. THAT IS A SIGN OF HYPOCRICY!

i know... iused to say hadith is bad but now i have researched and majority of the hadith are very accurate! they do not defy logic at all!! just to enjoy this lovely world miserable muslims have to give up sunnah of the beloved prophet...(PBUH). we do not worship the prophet, we just follow his advice on how to be a good muslim. reinterpreting the quran and spreading it in media and calling it islam indeed angers GOD, so do not take your anger out on me. i do not care if you do bad things, things forbidden in quran and hadith, they are forbidden for a reason, but please for the sake of delaying judgement day, do not call harram halal and halal haram. i do not care if some of want to drink alcohol, have illigitimate children, pay interest... BUT PLEASE DO NOT SAY IT IS HALAAL!!!!!

First of all, the prophet doesn't know the future. The hadith talks about future event. Based on this alone, we can see the hadith was fabricated. I am not saying there is no truth in hadiths but to "derive the truth" from hadiths, we cannot just read them on face value.

Quoteyou might think it is a conspiracy, but how can you ignore the truthfulness of the hadith when we see most of the signs of the day of judgement is true.

There are many signs of the day of judgment according to hadiths. One of them is Jesus will return. Is that the truth?

Back to hadith under discussion. Since the prophet doesn't know the future and we already see one of the future events mentioned in hadiths is nothing but lies, then how can you conveniently interpret that hadith to be speaking of present day "quran aloners"? It is more likely that in the past the corrupt sultan was confronted with "quran aloners" and to deal with them, the sultan's pets needed to fabricate such hadiths.

Quotejust because someone interpreted the quran differently that doesn't make that special someone to utter lies on the wisdom of the prophet granted by Allah.
Agree but I don't get it why you are talking about different interpretations of quran. We are discussing the hadith above and not quran, right?

mr. humble

yes! the prophet cannot predict the future! but Allah can and does, and Allah told the prophet to deliver these messages to us!!! that is why hadiths are important. Prophet(PBUH) doesn't just get stuff from some extraneous source and cause chaos and confusion!!!

Truthfully all those signs have probably been around since the beginning of time. Lying politicians? Bloodshed? Disasters? Even before Muhammad was born those things already existed among mankind.

Salaam,

Whether a story is true or not at times does not matter as much as the moral that it contains. And by the responses so far on this thread, I'd have to say you guys are making the saying that Mr. Humble posted above come true.
