The bond of God and hopefully man as well.

How can one be obedient to the lord-?

By following the quran- but which is correctly translated?
By obeying your religious teacher- but are they always right?
      By following the hadith, Sunnah and the quran.

Or by holding to the bond below.



What is Allah?

I think it?s always His bond, his bond, her bond or their bond.

Bond.

Rahman = Love and Mercy without regard to effort.
Rahim = continuous dispensing of rewards to the deserving.

Other description of the bond occurs throughout the quran- the attributes.


So was it about One God or One relationship/ bond?

In the following the Jews do wrong- they aren?t obedient to their bond.

i do find that God is the best of guides, and the merciful, the hearing. and nothing can eclipse His presence or his influence. that makes very much sense to me, too.

that is great! is that a truly accurate understanding of a difference between rahman and rahim? where did you get these nuances from, sister?

I think it was the Quranic dictionary - by Omar, its read by most people here at free-minds , i think , and i do think its a great piece of work.

I would recomand it strongly to any one who who doesn't know Arabic- it was very reasonably priced  aswell.
