Salamun Aalaikum.

I was reading Aidid Safar's Arab conspiracies on the Hajj topic and trying to make sense of his translation of 22:25~30. Therefore I broke up the Arabic words in this verse and try to correlate with the translation given by Aidid.

Indeed some of the words translation was explained by Aidid in his book (e.g Bait = System), however there are some words in his translation are not justified or without any reference(to my knowledge), some are also left out from his "literal" translation.

Here I compare the translation of Aidid with my personal translation with the reference of dictionary and a translation in my local language. I have bolded Aidid's translation which i could not find any reference. Therefore i urge brothers and sisters to verify and Aidid's and my translation and point to me if i did some error in my translation

1st row is a transliteration 2nd row is Aidid's translation, 3rd row is mine

Salaams Loli,

i would use Qd by Omar;

22:25
Verily those who disbelieve and hinder from the path (of) Allah and the submission the forbidden which we have made for (all) mankind (are) evil/ wretched the doer and who has ceased/ finished and whoever inclines regarding this, to stray from or to do wrong we will cause him to taste from a torment painful.

God Bless.

Salam Mz,

i understand this topic is a little bit heavy and thank you for replying

I understand from your translation you translated Sawa?a = evil/ wretched, im sorry but i dont find this definition in the QD under root Siin-Waw-Ya. May i know your reference?

besides that, what does your translation meant anyway? just curious because i cant seems to understand the whole meaning of your translation

salam
23:97-98. And Say: ?My Lord, I seek refuge with you from the whispers of the devils.??And I seek refuge with you O Lord that they should come near.?

Salaams loli,

sorry the dictionary isn?t at hand right know but from burhans it is as follows;

س و ء   s-w-A  it occurs 76 times in the quran.

http://www.irreduciblefifth.force9.co.uk/burhan/root_browser_main.htm

And they are missing out this ayah from the above 76 occurrences.

22:25
Verily those who disbelieve and hinder from the path (of) Allah and the submission the forbidden which we have made for (all) mankind (are) evil/ wretched the doer and who has ceased/ finished and whoever inclines regarding this, to stray from or to do wrong we will cause him to taste from a torment painful.

simpler version;

Verily those who disbelieve and hinder from the way of His relationship (described by the attributes) and from applying the laws that forbid (like do not kill or do not commit incest e.t.c) which we have made for mankind are evil indeed ? those who are undertaking such an accomplishment or have already undertaken such an accomplishment???

but that is just my understanding .

God Bless All.

Salam Mz, according to Hanna E Kasis Concordance, the word's root is Siin-Waw-Ya not س و ء

Hence equal is the correct translation. please correct me if im wrong.

Salam,

Is there any Aidid Safar supporters or Aidid safar himself to clear up, why these verses are translated in that way?
