The only way to kill sects is for the human race to cease to exist because there is not even two people who think in exactly the same way. What we need is tolerance, not uniformity.

Sects form when the majority starts believing that the intellect of a minority among them exceeds their collective intellect, so much so that there seems be no need of the majority participating -at all.

When people come together as individuals, the antidote to sectarianism lies in the very nature of their gathering - individuality.

Individualism is fine. Having different opinions is fine too. But what's happening in Iraq is not! and poor Lebanon too. I've been stuck between the sects and pulled in different directions by people saying "they're evil" and the others say "no, they're the ones who are evil"... there is tooooo much hatered! makes my blood boil ! I can't understand it! it needs to stop. and when I told both sects that I don't believe in sects ... I was called a kafir  so ... I'm on my own, just me and the Quran.

Can't Islam be both a religion and a state (of submission). Obviously, it was the religion of Abraham (pbuh) and all messengers afterwards. But it also means submit to the will of Allah!

Umm ... can we accept that the Quran has words which mean 2 or 3 different things? does this make anyone go crazy??? Even though I studied Linguistics I'm scared of interpretations of everything. God knows while you don't know! always!
