If you haven't seen this series of 11 episodes yet, make sure that you do. This is the best nature series I've ever seen. Simply amazing. The filming alone is unique and the views breathtaking. I haven't finished the whole series yet, but from the few episodes that I have I'm in awe of some of the creatures I've never seen or heard of on this planet.

Highly recommended. If you don't have access to Discovery channel or BBC, get it on video. :)

Peace all,

I agree zenje, i watched one episode last week and was amazed, it comes on tonight and I have made a point to make it our family night viewing with wife and kids, it beats my wife making me watch Hogan knows best.

Yep...I've seen em'all so far. Fantastic. Some of the angles they use and the super-slo-mo shots are just breathtaking. Once I finally get an HDTV, I'll buy the DVD set. As good as it looks on my good ol' Sony CRT, it's looks 100% better on a plasma.

The way it works, is you buy the HDTV, then you get HD programming, then you get either an HD-DVD player and/or Blu-Ray and THEN you get the high definition discs of choice.

one of the few things to watch on tv,the discovery channel its pure awesomeness!
i couldnt watch today's forests and caves episodes,just saw the big tree part with the lemurs and the fast opening flowers,almost made me cry.
