Very often during those times my son would catch me reading the Qur'an with tears streaming down my face.

This job was not going to work. I resigned a few days later.

You are indeed a true believer ! May The God bless you and give you patience and strength and increase your ranks even higher.

Well my son doesn't say a lot but he's quite intelligent and so he responded, "no, actually America was founded on the premise that you can choose any faith of your liking".

That is an impressive reply. It doesn't surprise me he did well at school.

In case I have missed it, did you mention somewhere how you came to islam based on The Quran?

I don't feel I'm special, but I do feel I no longer have any choice but to continue on this journey. How could I possibly turn back now, knowing full well that I might someday have the honor of being in the Almighty's presence and perhaps being given knowledge of what truly was and is. Do I sound like a nut? I feel like one.

Yes, you do sound like a nut !  I know a good psychiatrist
