For those of you who have not read it, I recommend it.

Some of it is VERY good, rest is above-average.

The bits I liked were:
examples of logic-based arguments in The Quran
metaphorical nature of the Quranic story of Adam V the more literal story contained in The Bible

Anyone else read it?

This book is very expensive (200$ for an used one).
Is it really worth its price ?

Wakas

peace,

I am surprised at this book's price on Amazon. It is likely out of print now, hence the price.

In any case, I ALWAYS check abebooks.co.uk and books.co.uk and bookbutler.co.uk for the cheapest price. For example, it can be bought for only $30 using these sites.

If I recall correctly, you live in France. I am sure they have book comparison websites there too. If you cant find it, let me know and I can lend you my copy. If you are interested in reading some Quran analysis books, the first ones I'd probably recommend would be by Toshihiko Izutsu: God and Man in the Koran, and Ethico-Religious concepts in the Koran. His analysis is some of the best I've read. His books are pretty cheap too.
