The saying that "Evoluton never knows where it is going" is only true relative to our current understanding otherwise sincethe whole universe is determnistic in nature and if one wereable to calculate all those factors, then one could exactly tell where, when and what type of creatures woul evolve at a certain place in a certain time. Most people incluing myself get confused on this point. It takes some though to figure this out. Ultimately one can well argue, and i surely do, that GOD fixed all the contstants of the universe in such a way that would allow creatures to appear at their particular time as we see them today or as weve discovered them passing by in the past.
