Salaam Soraya. Wakas has posted info on this. I would just add that I do post pics on facebook, but I am reasonably careful with whom I allow access to those pictures (i.e. via the ''privacy'' settings) because anyone of your contacts who can see the pictures you post on there can also 'right click' and save a copy. They shouldn't do it mind you, but there is nothing to stop them from doing it. Facebook has so far refused to create any barrier to this happening. You might not mind this, but I thought I would mention it just so you know.

You don't find many Muslims who are completely against photography. Even the real hadith believers will still accept that photography has it's place (even while rejecting dogs :)). I guess photography is just too darn handy and nice to have in order to help us with memories of our lives.

Peace sis :)

I'm a changed man. People change you know ;)

I used to dislike facebook in the past, but now I like it, and think it can be a great networking tool. This was not the only bastion that fell. Other bastions fell as well. Now I no longer shun television, as I used to do in the past. I have started to watch television again. So you don't have to throw out your television. At least not yet. Haha. Lol.

However, I watch television rarely. Less than once a month. And I still think that many television programs are useless and a waste of time.

I also no longer shun games. But that doesn't mean that I play games often. Not because I don't like it, but because my time is limited. And I prioritize other things in my life. And I don't have any games at home. So if I want to play games, I have to visit my friends In my opinion, playing games once or twice a year with friends, can be fun.

In one of my posts, in a thread that you also participated in, I wrote that I was not going be a part of the public school system anymore. But I have changed my mind. Actually I have decided to take a degree in college or university. So I have decided to take an education in the public school system afterall. I guess that I was dissatisfied with lots of things in the public school system in the past. But now my views about the public school system has changed. Anyway, I think it is important to have an education. It will give us new opportunities, and it is a key to the job market. Some people like to work from 9 to 5. And I respect their choice. People have different needs, and different outlooks on life. But personally I don't want to work from 9 to 5, all my life. I have another plan for my life. I have a vision. I have a dream. But until I have the time and recources to reach my dream, I have to put my dream aside, and be realistic. There are bills to pay, and the social realm has fixed codes and boundaries. So I understand those limits. And I know that some things are idealistic but not practical. So my views about the public school system has changed. I think it is important to have an education, because it can enable me to reach my dream easier and faster. I am going to take an education, so it can help me in my journey. Education can give me new opportunities, and is a key to the job market. And without an education, some jobs are impossible to get. Some jobs require a degree.
