For those of you who want to donate to charity but aren't sure what to donate to, a great site is: http://www.charitynavigator.org/

It breaks down thousands of charities by region/subject/etc. Most importantly, it ranks charities so that you know where the money is going. For example, certain charities waste way too much money on "administrative expenses" and this site lets you know exactly what percentage of the money goes to what, what the CEO makes, etc.
