Jinn?

Hello,

I don't know if this has been discussed before but i got this link in my email:

To me its an obvious fake (it actually made me laugh for quite a while). i just wanted to know what the Jinn really are according to the Qur'an. Are they humans or as they teach in the east some weird spirits on another dimension who can morph into anything they like?
What's the Qur'an's perspective on this.
