Its not true as much as I would love to believe it. It's an internet rumor, Hilfinger never appeared on Oprah. The rumor started in the Filippines, where someone claimed Hilfinger said Filipinos dont look good in his cloths. Many people think that Hilfinger would have said something like that due to the fact that in that particular area of the world you can find alot of knockoff brands, and Hilfinger was reiterating the fact that people would look better in his official stuff rather than the generic knock off crap for $5.
Oprah, Ricky Lake, BET, and all the other venues people said they heard Hilfinger go on TV and say the racist remarks all had episodes where they started there show saying "Hilfinger has never appeared on our TV show and the rumors are false." In fact Oprah claims she has never even met Tommy Hilfinger. Thus how could she have had a show with him.
