Interesting Hamza Yusuf lecture on madhhabs and hadiths

Hamza Yusuf talks about the madhhabs and it turns into an interesting discussion into some of the things the hadiths contradict each other in regarding salah.

For example -

- Apparently early Medinan people did not say 2 salaams at the end of their salah. They just said it once. Never heard this before

- There's a hadith from Aisha that says that Muhammad would end his salah by saying al-salaam 3aleikum once.

- The Maliki method of salah with the hands at the side is also based on the fact that early Medinans did not perform salah with the hands clasped in the front

- ""I memorized so many hadiths that I got confused." Because there are so many contradictions" - Yusuf quotes a scholar from the past
فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ ۚ
So strive as in a race in all virtues!
