Peace:

All over the issue of some Christians wanting to use the term 'Allah'. Whilst all the main Sunni leaning political parties condemn this, they all also condemn the decision of a court to allow the use of Allah by non-Sunnis (can you believe a court deciding on such an irrelevant thing)! This is what has lead to the firebombing probably.

Malaysia must get rid of it's state sponsoring of Sunnism through it's Bumiputra laws which allow too many idiots into positions of power, in my opinion.

In the 1930's Adolf Hitler and his left wing extremist parties swept through Europe invading country after country. Eventually, he was stopped, but only after countries such as the UK and America which were not invaded/not at the time invaded repealed the invaders.

How would the Quranic paradigm of fighting only when you have been attacked applied in this situation? Were the Allies wrong? What would and Islamic nation have done?

Was looking at this chapter. For me it comes down to verse 7:

QuoteFa-itha faraghta fainsab

Does anyone have a good meaning for 'fainsab'?

Nuun-saad-ba (the root of fainsab) on project root list :

Quoteto fix, raise/setup/establish, act with hostility/emnity, he put down a thing, fatigued/tired, suffer difficulty/distress/affliction, nasiba - to use diligence, toil/labour, be instant

The only meaning I good get that would possibly make sense would be to raise/setup/establish in the context of God (and Rabb is mentioned in the next verse). However, checking the root in the Quran, it appears to mainly be used to mean share/portion.

Any ideas

A good article on Zionist spying agencies, possibly training for bigger targets elsewhere.

I find how they override another country's security unbelievable! And what will be done about it? Probably nothing. Imagine if it was Iran Air!

I am keen to see evidence provided for Mecca being the place of hajj in the Quran.

Those who believe in this, please provide your evidence.

One reason why I would never, voluntarily, travel to Dubai.

It is the third world with money. Other people are beginning to realise this too (I think I saw a pretty similar thing on Al Jazeera).

Anyone live around that area. In the future it will be a testament to man's stupidity.

I have just returned from the slavery museum in Liverpool in the north of England. It got me wondering. White people have been responsible for ethnically cleansing THREE continents (North America, South America and Australasia), they have been responsible for two wars which brought untold misery to the WORLD, they dropped atom bombs on two places in Japan, dropped more bombs on Vietnam than had ever been dropped in the history of the world upto that point. Of course, their part in the slave trade ethnically changed the West Indies and to some extent South America.

Some may argue that they did what they did because they could (as in other countries would have committed such evils but were too primitive to do so) but this argument is flawed. The Mallaccans traded peacefully with Aboriginals prior to the Europeans and the Chinese under Cheng Ho knew where modern Australia was because he sailed there (http://www.theage.com.au/articles/2002/11/24/1037697982893.html).

The Arabs were no saints and engaged in slavery, but did not ENGAGE in the same sort of ethno-facism that the Europeans did. They also pretty multicultural in their slavery!

Any ideas why?

Does anyone know what level of evidence was used in this case? Does anyone know if a man was penalized as well?

Again further reasons for UK based Muslims to avoid this group which seems to exist so that Muslims can demonize and blame everyone else but themselves for their situation. MPAC does not work for the UK Ummah, but for Asghar Bukhari. The story about a London based Bengali doctor being kidnapped in Bangladesh (http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/london-doctor-is-held-as-forced-marriage-hostage-1055684.html) does not even make it onto their site when their members may have contacts who could help her out.

They also apply rigorous censorship on their site. These people are clearly a reprehensible and repulsive group.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/topics/christmas/3545246/School-cancels-Christmas-nativity-in-favour-of-Muslim-Eid-celebrations.html

Greenwood Junior School sent out a letter to parents saying the three-day festival of Eid al-Adha, which takes place between December 8 and 11, meant that Muslim children would be off school.

That meant planning for the traditional nativity play were shelved because the school felt it would be too difficult to run both celebrations side by side.

The move has left parents furious.

Janette Lynch, whose seven-year-old son Keanu attends the school, in Sneinton, Nottingham, said: "The head has a whole year to plan for Eid and so she should be able to plan for both religious festivals.

"I have never heard of this at a school. It is the first year my son has been there and a lot of the mums like me were really looking forward to seeing the children in the nativity."

She said a letter, sent from "The staff at Greenwood Junior School', said: "It is with much regret that we have had to cancel this year's Christmas performances. This is due to the Eid celebrations that take place next week and its effect on our performers."

The school is to hold a number of children's Eid activities for those pupils who do not take two days off to celebrate with their families.

Following outrage from parents, the school was forced to send out a second letter saying that the Christmas play would be done in January.

Sent by the head teacher, Amber Latif, and Yvonne Wright, chair of governors, it apologised for "any misunderstanding" but said it had to respect "the cultures and religions of all the children".

It added: "The Christmas performance has not been cancelled outright but has been postponed until the New Year."

Parents said they were originally told the performance was cancelled because children wanted to celebrate Eid with their families at home, and planning of the school year made it difficult to move performance dates to another week.

Sajad Hussain, 35, of who has two children at Greenwood Junior, said: "My children will be off for the two days next week to see their family.

"It's not that complicated; they could have one event on one day and another on another day, they should have both celebrations at the school.

"If you do not have both it becomes a racist thing and that's why you have to be careful If an issue is made out of it, it could become nasty."

Yesterday, a statement issued by Greenwood Junior, said: "We would like to apologise for any confusion caused as a result of [the original] letter we sent out and would like to reassure parents and the community that Christmas has not been cancelled at Greenwood Junior School.

"For very practical reasons we have taken the difficult decision to re-arrange some significant events on the school calendar to ensure maximum pupil and staff attendance."

Peace:

My thoughts:

1) Eid is only 1 day. The children should not be allowed more time off than this.
2) Mr. Hussein does not seem to reveal any objections over the delay to the nativity play, but is insistent in his 'right' to celebrate the 'Eid festival' (there is no such thing as this in the UK).

However, I would also like to know the ethno-religious makeup of the school before passing any more judgment.

Please consider reading the following article and tell me whether I am crazy for my above conclusion (in this instance).

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/3279943/GP-and-practice-manager-face-jail-for-obstructing-coroner.html

Please tell me you think that it is unbelievable that the daughter did nothing to help her mother, except make a phone call asking someone else to sort something out. And then it is these same people who have the ignorance to complain about the state of the healthcare service etc etc.

I also have been told that in Liverpool youths prank call out ambulances and then throw bricks at them! This is not even newsworthy. This story has implications for those involved in jobs that seek to help others out. Why bother helping others in a society that is so clearly rotten?

p.s. I also find it ironic the way they try to link abuses within ethnic minorities to their culture but when it happens amongst their own it is always isolated. Clearly an example of missing the Eiffel Tower in their own eye!

Eileen Gill died aged 82 in a fire at her home a few doors away from the surgery in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, in September 2007.

A month before the blaze, Mrs Gill's daughter Elizabeth Sardone contacted social services from her home in Spain expressing concerns.

At the inquest into her mother's death, she said she had been worried that there was a risk of her reclusive, chain-smoking mother "burning the house down".

Barnsley social services contacted the surgery and arranged for Dr Nigel Palmer to visit Mrs Gill who had become confused in her home which had been without power for months, the inquest heard.

Despite the proximity to the surgery, the appointment was never kept.

Mrs Gill suffocated after a discarded cigarette set her bed alight.

An inquest was opened but Christopher Dorries, the Sheffield coroner, adjourned it for police to make further enquiries after being told of the surgery's system of passing messages to doctors.

However, officers could not find the relevant information.

Staff at the practice in Park Road, Barnsley, were questioned about the evidence that had already been given to the hearing.

Dr Palmer, the GP, and Nancy Wainwright, his practice manager, were subsequently arrested and a criminal prosecution began.

Palmer, 45, and Wainwright, 46, have now admitted hiding notes from the surgery relating to the missed appointment.

Sheffield Crown Court heard that they could now be jailed for their actions.

Palmer, of Huddersfield Road, Barnsley admitted doing an act intending to pervert the course of justice between January and June this year by concealing the existence of a message book which he knew he had been ordered to be produced to the coroner's court.

Wainwright, 49, of Monk Bretton, near Barnsley admitted wilfully obstructing a police constable in the execution of his duty over the same period by concealing the existence of a message book which was required to be produced to the coroner's court.

Adjourning sentencing for probation reports, Judge Roger Keen told them: "Neither of you must read into that a non-custodial sentence is going to be imposed. A judge will decide about that."

Palmer was barred from practising until 2010 by the General Medical Council following the inquest. The interim orders panel suspended his registration pending the outcome of an unspecified investigation.

The inquest will be reopened at the conclusion of the criminal proceedings.

Everyone must be aware of the financial crisis currently ongoing in the world. In my opinion this has been created by money losing it's value through not being linked to gold leading to parasites who exist within the technicalities of this system being greedy and gambling out money which they never had.

I was lucky in that I am relatively young, forsaw some of what had happened and was able to avert losses with shares. My bank has not gone bankrupt either and my home is being paid for.

However, it is important to learn from these events and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas. I will suggest a few.

1) Investing in gold rather than shares?
2) Banking with a co-operative bank rather than one run for shareholders
3) Avoid credit card debt (something I am seeking to erase)
4) Renting versus buying houses when there is an obvious bubble

Any ideas on the ethics of what we should be doing?

p.s. there is a good internet documentary called money masters - watch it!

I saw this documentary on youtube :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2VvmTx_I0I\

Is this an accurate description? What I found interesting is the extremely backward attitude of both the women and men. So perhaps the Wahabbis there have more support than initially I had thought (I was under the impression that they were a backward group put in by UK/USA but most did not support their backward religion).
