Dear All,

I would like to post the following thoughts that despite asking some of my close folks, could not get a satisfactory answer. Maybe there is none atleast with our limited mind and space.

1. When a teacher has students in his class and he asked them sit in the exam, from his side he most likely have provided to all of them similar environment to his best capability. Likewise a child born with privileges vs child born with lot of inherited problems most likely (exceptions are not the criteria here) become in later life what the environment taught them. A thief, a beggar, a call girl, a dumb person with less intelligence, or a child whose dad passed away and he is now in orphanage and if he had become a bad person later in his life, he would most likely say if his father was not passed away , he would also had the privileges of proper education and etc. This does not mean crimes do not exists in rich people. but hope you get the point. So these two sets of people are not given equal environment, hence their traits depict accordingly. Now some folks call it a test... come on the other day I was watching a reality show where a girl (14 year) was interviwed in slum area having drugs and selling herself, told that she was one of the middle class folks with proper family but her dad passed away and then her dad's brother cheated and left her and her mom on the street. The point is despite there is acountability in here after etc, the fact remains, that girl in 14 years is in that stage because of the circumstances and we cant judge her future actions. Hence same level field is not given to her. Now yes you may say that god will be linient to her etc in here after but thats later. In this life she has become what her circumstances made her. Maybe 20% of such girls really get out of such mess but in general not. So where is the logic of God in all this? Now there is a verse
93:6 Did He not find you as an orphan then sheltered you? which brings me to 2nd point.

2. We find many verses in Quran like the above one where on the surface it looks like God favors certain people and even certain nations. Like Marry (mother of jesus over all world women), Family of Omron. Abraham/Jacob/Joseph all rest of kins.Because God does what he wants and he knows the reasons only. My point is any one can be worthy of Gods blessing and if that person is an Adult, I may understand the argument but what those children has to do with such unfortunate that theur circumstances made them bad people in later life (past 18 years). Why God did not shelter all of them? but only what he choses. based on what? Children cant be judged for his mercy to choose which one?

3. There are nations who flourish on their own, then there sre those who struck oil and become consumers and seems like chosen ones? while there are poor nations as a whole who lacks basic things of life? whos to blame? When it comes to masses we cant blame every person? For example across US Mexican border we see two different life style not now but stories of suffering and crossing the border is there since 100 years and these stories shape the life of those involved while other folks enjoy life

The points is you may say God knows and perhaps those people deserver good or bad.. I disagree. if the same level field was given to all humans then yes they can be punished for not being faithful ... but in the world we live in?

Perhaps we will know when we meet Lord what was his logic in making handicap people born, in making people or nations go down and further down while other nations go up and up and no logic on the surface.

Could any one explain without the cliche reply pls? meaning perhaps there is no religious explanation as such but this is how world is.
Best explained here (but this man is known as anti-religion by many)

Things we are calling God favor was actually 'Principles of Natural Selection".

Hello Every one,
Am sure similar topics may have been discussed in this forum earlier, however I would like to bring on this subject in hope that some one can give an explanation that comforts my heart rather than providing cliche statements.

I was going through youtube and this following ad came. I am not talking whether the ad agency is genuine or not as there are definitely those who benefit from some ones else suffering. but my point is to ask the obvious. why some people of all the gods creations had to suffer in their lives for no obvious reason?
There are so many verses in Quran which points that God blesses those in this life as well who stood by faith and also there are also punishments to those in this life who spread "fasad" in this earth. But seeing such people, I just cant comprehend or reconcile Why?
Looking at such an ad and am sure there are so many people who are worse etc. the point is seeing or hearing such stories, I fail to even ask Lord for one favor of my own. I feel ashamed of asking while am perfectly healthy and be able to walk and talk etc.....

Any one can shed some light on why God created such people with such destiny from begin til end (yes some may say that they will go to heaven straight  and/or  it is their test... but really what a big test if that is the case,,,  and what a painful life if purpose of the creator was to give em life in this earth as they cant even enjoy the life in full). I am sure there must be an explanation.

The only reason that I can think of is God does what he wants,,, we cant understand some of his work and perhaps he will let us know on the day of judgement the actual reasons behind all of such suffering and in the end we just pray that He will show mercy to all such souls and on top he will not punish us for even thinking that HE has done it purposely. For some times I feel so low thinking of such people...

General Issues / Questions / Prophet marriages
June 12, 2022, 07:24:03 AM
Needless to go into details of what happened in India over the issue of Prophet marrying Ayesha at the age where she was only a child and the person (who is a woman of some minster of govt) only said that she mentioned what is mentioned in so many islamic books/hadiths.
My question is

Why prophet married so many women around 10-12 I heard. Was it to set an example of marrying widows and orphans? i cant get around this. This means it would be a sunna for every muslim man to just repeat the same and marry multiple? I heard its 4 as limit per Quran but then why Prophet kept more than 4 wives at a time(violation of quran verse)? Sunni says this was special permission for Prophet, again not understanding the wisdom.

Even if Ayehs age was 18-23, still why did the prophet find it necessary being in 53+ to marry a girl age of her daughter? i mean it is legally allowed but morally prophet should set an example of Not?. In todays time if a man in 50s marry a girl of his daughter age, people do not generally like this concept? morally not a wise thing to set an example. hence we see many sheiks or so called scholars in 50s marrying teen age girls? - because of what was reported with the prophet.
The only motive as i could understand is for lust of young girl by the so called old age men? However I read that in hadiths AYEHSA was proposed by the God thru angel as a wife for the prophet..? Am not saying i believe in these tales but then sunni people had to come up with such hadith to justify while in the first place if prophet did not marry such young girl, this would not be need.

Please note am not disrespecting or anything, its just i cant get past this concept that if i was in those times and i see the prophet am following setting an example, in his 50s marrying a virgin girl more than half his age? Would be uncomfortable?

Unless the whole historical facts are WRONG. As some says even the age of khadija being 40+ and widowed is also fabricated.

Good morning folks.

After going through several years of now and then research, reading through many posts here and other places, having met with people from different religions and also within different secs of Muslims, living in a multi-culture and multi religion society, I am still at the same spot where I started "in search of truth ".
Yes I have a sea of data collected and you could say some clarity but still, there is this "Uncertainty", there is this "unseen" fear," not knowing the truth as well I can touch and feel".

There are people who provide a completely different narrative of the GOD, not god but an "Infinite" who can not be comprehended within any human thoughts, except direct one-to-one inner contact, or should I say meditating with the creator - to them there are no so-called prophets but enlightened people who for the good of humanity resolved into correcting society and perhaps wrote these religious books or tried to share their experiences with the world. I came across a personality on youtube by the name of sadhguru (despite the fact he is from Hindu background - concept of idols etc). but in his talk, there is logic and wisdom, which I hardly find in typical priests' talks. In the end, he has millions of followers and has established the sort of his physical kingdom and god knows what is the actual motive,.. is it the same to use religion or spirituality to rule over the mind of people.? to have blind folded followers for some later ill purpose...i do not know.

Then there are of course Sunnis and Shia who have been fighting for centuries and we can not deny outright the source of their issue, after all, they were initially the descendants of the family and companions of the prophet. Most of the so-called Quran Muslims have branched from these two unless the newly converted ones. Among these the majority are Ajamis (non Arab Muslims) spread all over the world, countries even. And their understanding and practice of Islam is beyond mine or any ones understanding if he really reads Quran in essence. What these people are practicing are rituals, practices developed over centuries and not a single word of Arabic is known (issue is not Arabic but they read Quran like parrots). These are mostly in India/Pakistan in terms of the overall Muslim population and they indulge in a completely different implementation of Islam (am talking about the majority). Probably because their ancestors have discouraged to read Quran with translation and have practiced the Taqlid concept of 4 Imams and hence the poor generations just follow a ritual based religion not understanding the soul. There are of course other countries such as Turk who established Ottoman caliphate and the adherence to Sufism version of Islam, several renowned poets come from within. Yet you witness the way they ruled, for example, unnecessary killing of other nations, sultan used to have concubines, etc, all point to the greed of power and money - similar to other nations of the world - still today.

Then we have so-called Quran Muslims who hold the belief that traditional religious clergy has corrupted religion, and Islamic guidance should only be based on the Quran, thus opposing the religious authority of the hadith literature and believing that the Quran is already clear and complete and it can be understood without referencing outside texts. Quranists claim that the vast majority of hadith literature are fabrications and that the Quran itself criticizes the hadith both in the technical sense and the general sense. My only comment here is that one can not outright throw away the hadith or the historical facts- they genuinely contain events that show how after the prophet's death his followers understood and implemented their understanding of the religion (wars, conquests, forced conversions, greed, etc.
For example the famous speech by the person who conquered spain..full of attracting the army with rewards of money, power and beautiful women.
https://revivers.wordpress.com/2012/04/02/tarek-bin-ziyads-inspiring-speech-to-the-muslim-army/
"
Remember that if you suffer a few moments in patience, you will afterward enjoy supreme delight. Do not imagine that your fate can be separated from mine, and rest assured that if you fall, I shall perish with you, or avenge you. You have heard that in this country there are a large number of ravishingly beautiful Greek maidens, their graceful forms are draped in sumptuous gowns on which gleam pearls, coral, and purest gold, and they live in the palaces of royal kings. The Commander of True Believers, Alwalid, son of Abdalmelik, has chosen you for this attack from among all his Arab warriors; and he promises that you shall become his comrades and shall hold the rank of kings in this country. Such is his confidence in your intrepidity. The one fruit which he desires to obtain from your bravery is that the word of God shall be exalted in this country, and that the true religion shall be established here. The spoils will belong to yourselves."

Coming to the point, the Quranist's view of Islam feels like a utopian world where the message of Islam and Quran was practiced, in an actual sense it was never practiced the way it should have been. Hence my understanding or anyone else for that matter will always be corrupted of how the events unfold. Should we take Quran as some wise words from God and just forget about its actual implementation into our lives? If not then how can we justify what actually happened by those who came before us. should we assume all of them were at fault? maybe this is the way God wanted to spread Islam. Similar to how Christianity has also spread in the beginning. And here we are talking about the actual meaning of the word Salat, and how do we pray and talk about rituals because we are in a very comfort zone during these times. Move the clock back centuries , we would not have time to talk about these because the daily chores will keep us so busy and the events around us from the kings or dictators that we could not have even access to a compiled version of Quran to even begin to understand the message of God.

Finally, I like to make a point that quoting Quran verses here in our comfort zone is very easy but in practice relating to our daily lives, it is very difficult to comprehend. People have real issues of health, poverty, etc and they cant be just mesmerized by some strong verses.

Therefore I failed to understand what the creator wants from us? If it's about not to lie, steal and commit bad things, then this does not require reading through every verse in the books, rather the concept of good and evil is somehow built into our DNA and if we listen to the inner voice, we already know the difference between good and bad.

So I invite everyone to share what they have understood so far and how it has affected their lives and do they really believe that they cracked the code, the meaning of life, and what is to come? Or we are just bubbles and death will end our existence completely....or there is more...

Cheers

Dear All,

I would like to know your opinion and thoughts about the following verse:

41:30
Surely, those who have declared: "Our Lord is Allah", then remained steadfast, on them the angels will descend, saying, "Do not fear, and do not grieve; and be happy with the good news of the Jannah (Paradise) that you had been promised.

The conventional understanding of Islam was that angel or precisly Gabriel descend upon the chosen humans who became prophets to spread the message of God, the basic message for which the prophets told totheir nations to obey one God and not associate partners and the reward these prophets want inreturn is nothing as they are only chosen to warn humanity.

In view of above verse, it seems the concept of angels desending upon human (not for purpose of prophethood) but the actual act is still happening and we may not know or feel (those who are mentioned in the verse- the kind of people).

Consider the following verses:
But first the pretext to the following verses as Sunni scholars say is the hadith from Bukhari:
On the day of the battle of Badr, the Prophet said, "O Allah! I appeal to You (to fulfill) Your Covenant and Promise. O Allah! If Your Will is that none should worship You (then give victory to the pagans)." Then Abu Bakr took hold of him by the hand and said, "This is sufficient for you." The Prophet came out saying, "Their multitude will be put to flight and they will show their backs." (54.45)

Now the vserse from Quran:

(8:12) And recall when your Lord inspired the angels: 'I am certainly with you. So make firm the feet of those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. So strike at their necks and strike at every pore and tip
(8:13) This is because they defied Allah and His Messenger. Whoever defies Allah and His Messenger must know that Allah is severe in punishment

3:121   And as you departed from your family to prepare for the believers
3:122   When two parties from among you were obsessed that they would fail; while God was their supporter. In God the believers should trust.
3:123   God had granted you victory at Badr, while you had been the lesser, so reverence God that you may be thankful.
3:124   When you said to the believers: "Is it not enough for you that your Lord would supply you with three thousand of the angels sent down?"
3:125   Indeed, if you are patient and are righteous and they come and attack you, He will supply you with five thousand of the angels battle trained.

And similar verses where Angel comes down to prophet or no prophet (like to Maryam) etc.

Questions:
1. Is it possible that the angels coming down does not mean in actual physical sense that some creature with wings is decending but actually those people were enlightened and their inner voice speaks to them and that led to the creation of religion and the books we known?
2. Angels still coming down to those who qualify 41:30 or even to other humans and it is like some times we are stuck ina bad situation and then every thing is clear and we know what to do? so its like a feeling not in literal sense.
3. The only exception which I can not comprehend is the verse 28:30 where no angel comes as a medium.
But when he came to it, he was called from the right side of the valley in a blessed spot - from the tree, "O Moses, indeed I am Allah , Lord of the worlds."

So these are my 3 questions if you guys can provide your opinions?

cheers

Dear All,

I would like to know your opinions about certain aspects of prayers and please my question is very technical in the sense rather spiritual.

I did search on this forum about these questions and clarifications but did not get any conclusive understanding.

For example, when talking about Salat, different versions of understanding appears, some say the word salat is NOT the ritual which muslims perform (the typical prayer - 5 times), but its more of generic word used in Quran for different perspectives.
However Quran does talk about the actual act of ritual in the sense of (qayam, ruko and sujod) hence I feel God does want the people to perform the ritual? If yes, there is no mention of how exactly ? but since these acts of worship are mentioned so often related to previous nations, I feel perhaps Quran  does not see need to point out the actual steps (unlike Ablution where precise steps are mentioned)? why so? is it because its the same prayer (acts/steps) that arabs at the time of prophet knew about? and hence they all know how to perform?
I can understand the sensitive towards Hadiths from Quranic point of view, but the kind of prayer muslims are performing - which ever sects- the act of performance is largely remain same? (no of rakaat and other aspects)?
At the same time whats being said in thise prayers also remains largely undisputed.  For example, the prayer to prophet and ahle bait after tashaud is being uttered by shia and sunni with exact words. However Quran does only speak of saying Durod to Prophet and not his family (this is something muslims added).

I hope i have tried to explained my point to certain extent. My question is if there is any room for perfoming rituals being a Muslim, then how do you guys perform? from quranic aspect only? No of times, how many rakat, what to say? steps etc? or you just stand and indulge in Qayam rku and sujod and say what ever you want? in which case how is the concept of  congressional prayer is explained because that should be conducted in a specific mannger to show the unity and symmetry.

Thank you

Peace to all, I am learning from all of the posts on this forum. I calim no intelligence nor am educated like you all folks are.
I just have a passion to learn and seek knowledge. I noticed that most of the time folks here debate with out showing respect to others. Its easy to make accusations about another religion or prophet for that matter.

Therefor I will be asking few questions which are so called miracles mentioned in different holy books. I want to believe but I need to make sure that I start with a blank slate and move forward. One chain of thoughts is that there were no prophets, books or angels etc, God never did so except to create man and free will and good and bad and the man will experience both and judge himself. Those prophets are so called enlightened people and they create all this out of their own experience and perhaps to counter the ills of society at that time..... this is not my question here but during the journet i want to counter such thoughts of mine. Because we obviously cant go back in time when establish faculities were not made to record, print of capture pics or videos to witness the so called claims.

To start with; I have always wondered how can a child be born without a father, it just does not make sense, it is against nature and all scientific evidences we have. Thought it is also written in Quran the birth of Jesus but again the translation or the true understanding may differ. Verses in Quran such as 16:5, 75:37, 76:2,22:5, 23:14,75:37-38.
What I meant to say is that could it be possible that Marry had a husband and that she actually got married and then later came with a son (as a result of marraige) and then the whole story starts?

I found a version of Quran which translates the verse and explain the birth in the following manner. I asked all of you to please provide your opinion on the birth of jesus.. not to go into debate of bashing the following translation. Question is simple, when Quran talks about how a new creation is born from mating, how then a verse talks about JESUS defying the natutal law, and could this be our own interpretation at fault? Why we do not see similar miracle or ANY MIRACLE during the modern times? God remains the same.

Chapter 19:
17. (The clerical life and the unpleasant events occuring there had such an
adverse effect on her mind that) There also she lived in seclusion, apart from others.
In order to obliterate these effects, We introduced positive thoughts in her mind and
pleasant aspects of life appeared to her (in her dream) as a person.
18. (Mary was frightened at this sight and exclaimed) "I seek the protection of ArRahman from you (if you have any regard and respect for His Laws)."
19. He answered, "(There is no cause to become alarmed because) I have only
brought a message from your Rabb (3:44). He is going to bestow on you a well
developed son."
20. She said, "How can I have a son when no man has ever touched me." (When I
was in the temple, I lived a virtuous life; and since I came out, I have not got married
as this is against the clerical laws ~ 3:46; 19:28.)
21. He said, "Whatever I have told you, will happen according to Allah's law of
creation (3:46). This is easy for Him (to remove all the hindrances which are in your
mind and which perturb you ~ 19:9). Allah has also said that this child will not be
like other children. He will be from our side an embodiment of Rahmat for the
people; and a testimonial for truth and falsehood. (Whoever brings Eiman on his
Nabuwat will be on the right path, while the one who rejects it will be wrong.) And
this is already decreed by Us (that the child will be Our Messenger ~ 3:47).
22. (And gradually all impediments were removed and the fear of clerical taboos
vanished from Mary's mind. At the same time, in spite of warnings and intimidation
from the priests, one person agreed to marry Mary.) In time Mary conceived the
child and consequently they (both of them) considered it appropriate to move to a far
off place (so that the child would be born at a place where no one knew them; and
where they would be safe from the wrath and accusations of the priests).
23. And when the time of delivery came, the throbs of childbirth drove her to the
trunk of a date-palm tree. (An idle life in the temple; the pangs of first delivery; the
unfamiliar surroundings; and the absence of appropriate provisions and shelter,
caused Mary extreme bewilderment; and) She exclaimed, "O how I wish I had died
before all this and had become quite forgotten."
24. (While she was in acute anguish there came a voice from beneath) O Mary!
Grieve not. There is a (pleasant) rivulet running below (and a bunch of ripe dates
hanging over you).
25. Shake the branch of the date-palm towards you and fresh ripe dates will drop
near you.
26. Eat (the fresh dates) and drink (the cold water from the rivulet) and then let
your eyes rejoice (at the sight of your baby). (As for your concern about accusations
or people's queries, you should keep a fast and) If anyone asks, you should inform
only by gesturing, that you have vowed to fast in the name of Ar-Rahman and will
therefore not speak to any person for the day.
27. (This is how Jesus was born. The parents took the child to a far off place. He
grew up there and was bestowed with Nabuwwah.) His mother then brought him
back to her own people, on a mount. (Firstly, the very act of leaving the temple and
living a married life was against all the discipline of the clergy. And now Mary
returned with Jesus, who started to bitterly criticise the conduct, character and selfmade laws of the clerical order.) So the people said, 'O Mary! You have come here
with something very strange. (Firstly your own conduct was against the norms of our
society; and now you have brought a son with you.)
28. They said, 'O sister of Aaron! Neither was your father a wicked man, nor had
your mother revolted against the clerical discipline. (With such a noble, religious and
law abiding ancestry, look at what you have done and the kind of education you have
given to your son.)
29. In reply to all these questions she (would not say anything herself but) would
direct them towards Jesus (to get their answers from him). (The elderly priests who
were extremely proud of their priesthood arrogantly asked) Should they talk to one
who till recently was a little boy in the cradle?
30. In reply Jesus said: (There is no justification in this argument that because
you are older than me and I am young in age, that you should not consider it
appropriate to talk to me. Now listen carefully to what I say) "I am a servant of
Allah. He has given me the Book and bestowed Nubuwwah upon me."
31. He has blessed me in every walk of life and has enjoined upon me to
establish, as long as I live, the correct system of Salat and Zakat (in place of your selfmade laws).
32. (You had been very critical about my mother's conduct. However whatever
she did was according to the true shariah of Allah. Therefore) I shall always be very
dutiful and respectful to my mother; and He has not made me a cruel and callous
person.
33. (According to your self-made laws, you regard my birth objectionable.
However, according to God, whose message I have brought) My birth is for peace;
my life will be for peace. Peace will be upon me till the day I die; and I will be in
peace in the life after death.
34. This is the true story of Jesus about whom people disagree so deeply. (One
group, namely the Jews, degrades him and regards his birth objectionable. On the
other hand the Christians aggrandise him as the son of God.)
35. It is not necessary that Allah should have taken for himself a son (to help Him
in running the affairs of the universe). He is far above such a requirement. Such is
the might of His powers, that whenever He decrees a matter, He only has to order it
to 'be', and it 'becomes' (according to His plan). (He does not need any outside help
in carrying out His will and decree.)
36. (As regards the Christian belief that Jesus was God himself, there cannot be a
better argument than Jesus's own proclamation that) Verily Allah is my Sustainer and
yours as well. All of us should obey Him, for this is most certainly the (only) straight
and balanced path (3:50).
37. (This was exactly how he preached. However later on) Some of the factions
(amongst his followers) started dissenting amongst themselves. Regretfully for all
those who deny the truth, when that Day of Judgement comes it will be a difficult
time for them.
38. (Today by calling a Rasool, 'God', or 'son of God') They are perpetrating
zulm and are committing an error. But they will not be able to do this on the Day (of
Judgment). On that day how clearly will their ears hear and their eyes see! (50:22)
39. Therefore O Rasool! You should warn them of the coming of the day of
regrets, when all matters shall be settled. As yet they are heedless because they do
not believe this.

General Issues / Questions / How do ever know the truth
September 14, 2021, 11:59:43 AM
Dears,

I have a question for every one. We know by our exeprience and observations facts about this life and everything around us. We read from history and also from religious books. We tend to make some sense of all these in general and in personal terms. However do we ever know the Real Truth about this life?

The more I try to bring logic into the life, the more am disappointed by the opposite events which tends to defy the logic, to the point that there is no logic in this world, everything here happens for reasons beyong our imagination, yet we tend to label a reason for everything that happened. In short, we can go on and shout or pray silent, God may listen or may not listen, does not matter, what is going to happen will happen anyway. So the point is, everything is happening beyong our grasp, yet it is beautifully terms as free will and we reconcile ourselves into beleiving that there is some sort of an order or logic into this world, yet the game is on, generations after generations come in, same stories being repeted, similar of different faces and life goes on.

The more I dig deep into religion or philosophy, the more I am lost... why?

Hello Everyone.
Coming from a sunni background into the Quranists way of thinking and then understanding Quran/Islam myself as much as I can put my trust and knowledge and the fact that I learnt a lot from the folks on here.
However lately I am being comfortable with the fact that I believe in the supreme being the creator of everything as opposed to before when I believe in the creator through the books or religious thoughts. Now the free mind thinking approach makes me believe that there is a creator.

The issue is that more I read and research, the more I feel drifting away from Books, Religion, Prophets or messengers etc etc and more closer I get into the one who creates and assemble everything around us in this universe. The books , religion, and messengers makes me feel limited into the belief while when am free from them which essentially means free from following a religion, I tend to become more closer to the supreme.

So what is happening ? I feel if I continue I might doubt everything written in books or even fall into the theory that a religion or books have been written by people who had a plan or the wise ones among folks then, however the requirement that they convey the supreme message is diminishing...

Can some one please help me as I do not want to be a person with no faith.

Cheers

Yes its the same name.

I do not believe in Slavery because it takes the dignity out of a man and a man with no honor is the worst of all things.
Yet history is full of example. I can only assume that God send his messages to abolish such ills of society and NOT to compliment it further with exceptions.

There are many Indonesians who come and work as maids in Arabia and God knows what happens to them in private but at the same time, these modern day slaves are the ones who voluntarily come and work  knowing the extent of sexual addiction of arabs in general.

Cheers

No matter how much I like to defend Islam, or Muslims, what the man said makes sense from where he or they stand.
I am not going into the debate of how west have exploited the world nations in the past but my point of being sad is what Islam has become eventually; a religion which is being looked upon as causing trouble.

By being here on this site and being able to understand many things in a much better way than the conventional islam, the question still haunts me that despite all of that, Islam as a religion should have not reached to this point. The people who spead Islam has become a joke of nations in every aspect of life; consumers. The folks who were converted to Islam have had not full understanding and broken into multiple sects and not knowing the Arabic language off Quran has made them more ignorant.

The most painful part is when the person complained about Islam breaching their mode of life and immigrants not able to mix with the culture and some how imply to force upon their belief onto the foreign land and its people.

Anyway, maybe perhaps am not able to comprehend my thoughts but I welcome any words of comfort or reconciliation as to what is happening and why Islam has failed the humanity in general and why every other nation of religion is at war with it.

The following video made me shocked and laugh literally.

General Issues / Questions / After death
July 03, 2015, 05:12:33 PM
Hi folks,
I really missed the forum, as I was unable to enter the website (banned here) and my proxies were also banned.
Today I was able to find a new proxy , hence am here.
I have an intriguing question , just for self satisfaction reasons.

Based on my understanding and some of the explanations from posts on the site, for the following verses:

36:51 And the horn will be blown, whereupon they will rise from the graves massing towards their Lord.
36:52 They will say: ?Woe to us! Who has resurrected us from our resting place? This is what the Almighty had promised; and the messengers were truthful!?

40:45 So God protected him from the evil of what they schemed, while the people of Pharaoh have incurred the worst retribution.
40:46 The Fire, which they will be exposed to morning and evening, and on the Day when the Hour is established: ?Admit the people of Pharaoh into the most severe of the retribution

2:28 How can you reject God when you were dead and He brought you to life? Then He makes you die, then He brings you to life, then to Him you return

39:42 God seizes the souls at the time of their death; and for those that have not died, during their sleep. He then keeps those that have
been overtaken by death, and He sends the others back until a predetermined time. In that are signs for a people who will think.

Based on the above and the fact that God is also saying signs for people who want to think. I have the following questions/statements.

1. When a person dies, his soul departs from the body and he or she went into dreamless sleep until the judgement day.
He or she will  enter into a state of NULL/VOID/UNKNOWN similar to what the person was before birth ( 2:28 where god talks about two deaths.
meaning we were dead before we are born, (dead in the sense of body, perhaps soul was alive and kept as dormant)).

2. The above is true for most of the people. But if God wants as a special case, HE may let a soul feel the heat even after death as in the case of verse 40:46, where the hell fire was shown to the king day and night, because his sins were so evil that God may want to make him realize that his judgement is already done.
But this could be a special case. While all other folks will wake up only at the judgement day.

3. The story of people of caves, although not related but gave me an indication that when a person will wake up after death on judgement day, he or she may experience that the sleep lasted for few days or less and would not realize that he was actually dead for centuries, because of the simple fact that he was made dead (null) and could not recollect how long was he asleep.

4. So in essence there is some sort of punishment after death and before judgement day (not the kind which is so popular in most of the muslim concepts of azab-e-qabar) but definitely some consciousnesses is there for some extreme cases/people as in case of pharaoh example above.

5. I am more inclined to believe that the reward and punishment is only going to happen at the judgement day as it is mentioned in so many places in quran. The talk about a book which does not leave a thing, the talk about people whose faces were glow or become dark based on  their deeds evaluation etc etc.

Now I would not care what happens after death, as the only place I have control is this life. However I just wanna share if what I understand is some what close to what you folks think ?

I would also like to understand the context of the following verse based on what verses I have quoted above:

36:20 And a man came running from the farthest part of the city, saying: ?O my people, follow the messengers.?
36:21 ?Follow those who do not ask you for any wage, and are guided.?
36:22 ?And why should I not serve the One who initiated me, and to Him is your ultimate return??
36:23 ?Shall I take gods besides Him? If the Almighty intends any harm for me, their intercession cannot help me in the least, nor can they save me.?
36:24 ?Then I would be clearly astray.?
36:25 ?I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me!?
36:26 It was said: ?Enter Paradise.? He said ?Oh, how I wish if only my people knew!?
36:27 ?Of what my Lord has forgiven me, and made me of the honored ones.?

Does the above verse is talking about a real story that has happened ? if yes, does it mean the man running from the city and when he dies, he was made to enter the paradise (the same paradise that we all believe will be enabled only after day of judgement and its doors will open to believers)?
So does this mean that man in question enters the same paradise after he was dead or killed and he was a soul? and before he is even made to life on judgement day?
If it is true, that means one can enter the same paradise after his death? and before the actual judgement day and it is not just some illusion or dream entry? as per the verse above, the man was so happy that he exclaimed had the people know what a paradise is..... because he had witnessed it and entered it?
Did he enter as a body?

I really am not questioning the validity because I think maybe I am not interpreting correctly. But some verses clearly are exceptions cases . especially the last one?

Update:
I forgot to mention the following verse:
89:27 ?O you soul which is peaceful.?
89:28 ?Return to your Lord happy and content.?
433
89:29 ? 90:20
89:29 ?And enter in among My servants.?
89:30 ?And enter My Paradise.?

So I guess for some privileged people, God will waive the death, will waive the judgement day, and will make them enter the same paradise immediately they die or killed? I was under the impression that this is limited to those who are killed in the name of god or it can happen to any one?
